Title: Need help identifying a component on DUO-R Mainboard
Post by: Voultar on 11/19/2014, 02:19 AM
My Duo-R mainboard was knocked to the ground, and the corner of the table caught what appears to be a transistor.. It lifted a pad, and I'm needing help identifying the part. Can anyone help?

It's Q903.

EDIT:

Out of a stroke of pure luck. I saw this tiny SMD transistor on the ground. I worked some magic, and all is well again!

Completely off-topic but since you have your answer, I hope you can forgive me. I was looking at pics of some of your mods and you were talking about using a non-conductive removable adhesive to route your wires. You also mentioned it was Japanese. I live in Japan and I can't seem to locate it. I asked at the engineering shop I go to and they kept trying to sell me epoxy. Do you know the name of it or better yet have a pic?

I wish I kept an empty vile of it. I've not been able to source that stuff for several months.

I'll look around my workshop and see if I can't find the name.

Okay. I'll keep digging and if I find something that looks promising I'll shoot you a link. Maybe together we can find it.
