Wow, I had no idea he had passed away today. I was just playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep a few days ago where he was doing the voice work for one of the major characters and thinking on how much I enjoyed his role as Spock growing up... So many legendary actors are passing away now...

Sad, just watched in search of on youtube last night and it reminded me how awesome the show was back in the day.
83 years is a pretty good run. I guess you could say he lived long and prospered.

I have been rewatching all the original series Star Trek episodes with my daughter.
It's a sad day.
I've seen a lot of celebrity deaths in my lifetime, and while I thought Robin Williams was pretty sad for me, I've never been so down about a celebrity passing as I've been today. I actually had dreamt of one day getting to meet Mr. Nimoy, but now I'll never have the opportunity. Rest well, Leonard. I'll always remember you whenever I look up at the stars.

Leonard Nimoy made quite a few appearances on The Simpsons. My favorite appearance of his (which i think was his first) was the monorail episode. Never got much into Star Trek, but it's sad nonetheless.
However, a friend of mine shared a story about Nimoy. Thought it was pretty damn interesting.

I always heard Shatner was a butthole (but then again, that was on the internet, so who knows). Wonder if Nimoy really was a nice guy or if my friend's uncle is just a dumbass. Regardless, RIP.
