Just a note, the everdrive is an amazing piece of hardware. It enables so much more now for developers. I paid for the digital download of atlantean and with out the everdrive i would of had to play it on a pc being emulated and face it, emulation sucks. Sure i would love to have the hucard version of atlantean but all i can do is wait until my name comes up on the list! Ever play any of the free games like HuZero, santatlantean, even the flappy bird clone are fun to play on original hardware.
As for the roms, well i'm pretty sure no one is selling them on cd and making ridiculous profits. They are free to download and that's it. Not only that but now people can try out games they may never be able to afford or see if they even like them before they buy them.
You then you posted after me you would raffle them. That would have been the right thing to do in the first place. You could have kept the thread up or whatever instead of trying to blame me that's why your canceling it. It's not like i have any control over what you do/say, so why the hell would you try to blame me, like i forced you to do that? This comment is why I locked the thread. In a way he was inadvertently referring to you three. If you wish you can explain your situation as to why you may desire said copies of "fake" games to him, whatever those reasons may be. He may, or may not, understand. Buying a flash cart to play roms is still a form of "piracy". The guy who made the Everdrive is not an idiot, he knows what it is being used for mainly, to play roms, like all of the other flash carts before it. The only reason you are trying to justify it is because you are invested in it on a monetary level, and because you got exposed as a hypocrite. You just did not expect anyone to throw that shit back in your face after you decided to thread crap and act high and mighty.
