Nintendo just released this pretty funny video promoting upcoming stuff, but they also mention they're going to do a Nintendo World Championship this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original back in 1990.

This seems pretty awesome, I wonder how many people will show up for the prequalifiers and such.
I attended the NWC 1990 in Worcester and was a semi finalist.
I wonder what the price will be. A numbered digital copy of the competition game
I attended the one in Pittsburgh and did terribly. :cry: I remember it being a good time though.

I live in Western Massachusetts but that was the nearest place to compete. I actually go to Worcester on a regular basis to shop at 'That's Entertainment' though.

That would be unfortunate... However, it would be cool if it was a new New Super Mario Brothers game or a modified version of the new ones. Could be very hetic if they did that. lol
