Greetings pcengine-fx.com forum family!
I'm brand new to these forums and would like to introduce myself. While I've been a Turbografx owner since 1992 and a casual PCE Duo collector since 2002, and very familiar with pcengine-fx.com, I didn't feel worthy of joining until I purchased a PC-FX...which just happened a couple weeks back! It has kinda spawned a new, hard-core obsession with all my "old school" games, and even started posting my own game-themed pics on Instagram. More of a gamer now at 30 then I was at 10 haha...Basically, the bug has bit me :)
So with that said, I look forward to speaking with everyone and hearing what all of you have to say – and a special thanks to PunkCryborg who nudged me to join (pointing out that Zeroigar will likely have an English translation soon!)
All of you rule! It's so refreshing to see so much new life breathed into the ol' NEC console family!
=D>
Many humble thanks and see you out there,
Jason

Welcome aboard!
Screw that punky guy. All his posts are too lengthy and verbose to bother reading, but they're great for quoting out of context.
Welcome, comrade :)
We are happy to talk about anything here.
BUT YOU MUST SHOW A MINIMUM LEVEL OF OBEY.
OR ELSE.
THAT IS ALL.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Minimum level of obey? haha Not sure I understand...sorry for the noobidity!
Whoa - just spent the last few hours looking at all the DoxPhile magazine scans. So many memories from my childhood! Great site!
Also tg-16.com: known that site for years and stoked to be chatting with you gamers. Much respect for creating such killer resources. If I had the time and skill, I'd do the same.
Kudos. [-o<
...ok now heading home to play more Battle Heat... (that should be my signature ha)
Welcome to the boards.
Welcome. and Wait until you see said zeroigar translation, it is beautiful. the update thread proofs as such, so far.
Welcome to Pcenginefx!
Hey dude, glad you made it to the group. You post some nice NEC gaming pics on Instagram!
Thanks man! I try to capture the elegance, in my opinion, of the design quality not only of the consoles but of the gaming visuals. I'd have to say that King Drool, Aaron Nanto's movies and pics are partly where I draw inspiration from as they're in a class of their own :)
What's this 'Jerry Jelly', 'Punchy Pedro', etc stuff...and the Bonk smileys under everyone's user name on the left? Seniority type thing? Will I acquire as I post more and stay active longer?
...more noobidity

Yep. It's based entirely on your post number.

Ah awesome another New Yorker  Do you know of any other physical stores in our area that have old video games and consoles other than Video Games New York (Bowery/West 6th) and J+L Game in Midtown? I live in Bushwick and there's a small store called Madrid Video out there that has some Genesis, SNES, NES, N64 and of course all the latest but I'm looking for less typical type - more enthusiast retro game type. Where do you get most of your games from? Hit-Japan, Jump-To-Japan and 16bit are my main ebayers but other than that, hard to find :-k
Thanks!
Jason

Northern Jersey is superior to any and all of the five boroughs, so you guys can commiserate with each other.
:)
Too funny! Any good stores in Jersey I can check out? Northeast Gamers!

I don't enact to get your hopes up: Digit Press has a store that is easy to get to of you avoid rush hour on GWB/Lincoln Tunnel.
The problem is: no brick n mortar stores offer much TG-16/PCE, and even then the prices are meh to !!!

I'm checking out a new one I just found out about. Expect a report in the next couple of weeks. Digital press Is worth the visit just to see the store honestly. There is also a store down here at the shore, but it's hit or miss called east coast gamers. Level UP is down by Atlantic City, and also a pretty cool store.
welcome Brooklynite!!! I live in Northern Jersey and work in Brooklyn and Queens. NYC FTW!!!!!

Sorry for the long, delayed reply - I've been traveling a bit but back in BK now. I live in Bushwick, right off the Central ave M. Do you own a PCFX? What NEC consoles do you have?
Best,
Jason
