huge fan of the final fight clones/ punk beat em ups. is there anything else like this on PCE besides crest of wolf?

In all honesty, the snes is much better for belt scrolling beatem ups.

There are some good ones though like river city random and double dragon II.

Those are on the snes, not the PC engine.

yeah i know, just seeing what's on PCE. i know it's mostly geared for shmups etc.
