Found this little snippet and thought I'd share it.  Pretty cool.  Hit Movie and a TG-16, probably his best year ever.

I guess all those searches for 10 y/o boys finally paid off!
Actually my custom search engine was set 6YOB's MAX but somehow this older fellow snuck past my filters.    I will have a chat with my NAMBLA web master after I get off work .  Even
IF I did ever go that old, I heard Michael busted him wide open so why bother :-$.

Now that's pretty freakin cool.  "It's better than Nintendo."

The kid had taste.... maybe.  It plays out more like paid product placement than real interest.

It was definitely all downhill for him from there.

He even said so himself, better than Nintendo. Smart boy! Wonder if he'll start getting nostalgic for the system and start coming around here looking for some games

Maybe that's the true identity of Tool.

He saw the writing on the wall.  Once those Mode 7 FX hit his beautiful baby blues it was all over.

Agreed Arsenio looks so creepy in that video lol.

If you look at the bottom-right corner of this advertisement, you'll see that NEC did very little to build on McCallister's endorsement:
"...his primary goal in life is to get his own TurboGrafx-16 Video Game System."

Well, he says he like rap music, but lists Vanilla Ice as his favorite rapper, so we have to question his taste. :)
Of course, even I couldn't resist the charm of Vanilla Ice back then.

This is the greatest thing you have ever done. Thank you. :)
I use to watch Arsenio Hall all the time, but I never ever ever never knew that TG-16 made an appearance. Damn.

That was fun to watch.. Thank you guys.
In a few short years he would be home alone with herion

I love seeing stuff like this.  I wonder if his best friend Solomon is still a Turbo fan?  Is he on these message boards?  Has he found his key (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon%27s_Key) yet?

AND he lost Mila Kunis who put up with him for years...
EDIT: Pretty funny cameo he appeared in courtesy of Tats' OBEY FB channel.

I wonder what he thinks of it now?  It's interesting that he was into SFC imports too, makes me wonder if he sampled any PC Engine stuff or even got the TG-CD attachment.  His life is a bit of trainwreck, but it's really cool that he at least had one for a while.  What other celeb endorsements do we have?
1. McCauley
2. Matthew Sweet
3. ???

Ah, right, I have those two mags too.  I forgot about those ones, unsurprisingly.  I wasn't even sure what kind of sportsball the LA Kings played, honestly!  Turns out its hockey, not something I know a lot about anyway.  I remember Green Jelly from MTV back in the day but the one song I remember (something about the big bad wolf) didn't make it into my continuous Turbo Party Hits playlist.  Though now it should.

Haha, I used to love GREEN JELLY as a kid back in the day.  Pretty hurting endorsement, though, really.  That was the best they could do?  At least the Turbo Express showed up in ENEMY OF THE STATE.

That's great. I know it is only one line, but it is precious. Ha!
"Q: What else did you do as kids?
A: Sal: We also played video games like "Bonk." "Bonk" (featuring a bald caveman) had a huge head and would smash bananas. I recently bought (the game system) on ebay for $52 so we could play again. It was called something like TurboGrafx-16."I wonder if Bonk's Adventure and/or Bonk's Revenge was the top-seller for TG-16...
