  * I think that it cannot do improvement & correction of the above-mentioned

I emulated Pc Engine for the first time last night. I tried out Magic Engine fist and then Ootake which I fealt was much better. I had my computer hooked up to my 29" VGA CRT and the image looked perfect even with scanlines emulated it looked identical to my Pc Engine on the same monitor in RGB. It was also much better at mapping controls to a USB saturn pad including buttons for save states on the controller. Magic Engine might have those same features but they were way simpler to figure out with Ootake. I'm going to have to d/l the new version tonight. Thanks for the update

There may be a lot of people here who have a fondness for Magic Engine, as it was probably the first workable PCE emulator (not that I know for sure). However I feel at this point Ootake does things just as well as Magic Engine and I find Ootake's interface far more appealing and straight-forward.

Magic Engine gets a lot of emulation things wrong, especially chiptune audio. Ootake surpassed Magic Engine years ago...

...and Ootake is free. :)

This is awesome news. Ootake has been my emulator of choice for a few years now. Glad to see it's still being supported.

Has he implemented any hlsl shaders yet?  or is there a frontend launcher that will allow this with ootake?

THANK YOU KITAO NAKAMURA FOR PRESERVING PC ENGINE JAPAN GRAFX FOR PLAY

(ok ok, at least he fixed that annoying file open dialog crash, that's cool, but besides that there isn't much being worked on to be honest)
