Yeah, that's bullshit. Even if it's otherwise obviously a repro in person (like if it were printed on 25lb stock), it really should have identifying marks in the print itself.

I'm scaling back my collection, and some of these boxes I made for myself before selling to others originally did not have repro labeling on the print. I will be clearly writing reproduction on them before sending them out to the new owner. I'm not looking to scam or mislead anyone down the line. Sorry for the drama.

Many more than the few who like to take jabs at him and they do much less frequently. He rarely talks games, let alone Turbo/PCE stuff and his main interest after drama and attention is market talk. This isn't opinion, this is literally his history here which you can see for yourself on his profile.
Many people in society who are revealed to have committed shocking acts have friends and family say how they were "such a nice person" after the fact. So it's not surprising that DK is civil and friendly with some people in the world, but his behaviour in this forum isn't a fabrication by his detractors. So you can be thankful for the relationship you have with him, but you can't be surprised by his effect on others or expect everyone else to take the high road before him.
The only way he's going to get less of the attention that he lives for is if he has a personality change and stops stirring up shit and ignores those who take swipes at him. Hopefully, in the unlikely case this ever happens, he will still behave positively with people like you, while searching for something else to fill that void in his life.

Thanks, yeah I am thankful to not be caught up or a victim of any previous issues or drama, and didn't mean to come across surprised. I am not surprised by the any hate on DK, it happens so often the shock wore off long ago :P I just want the guy programming my first PCE project to have buried hatchets with the people who will potentially enjoy it, and to generally brighten the somber and angry mood around here sometimes.

Perfectly said. I am not aware of the history, so can't say that the backlash against him is justified or not, but one side has to drop the offense and let some shit talk slide in the good hearted idealism that we will just live on obeying what's important here, the games.

On the subject, I will say you DO gotta be careful with the ban stick, I know this very well myself. I once banned a guy called "Vision-Z" from a retro PCE chatroom #rigg (early 2000's BITD), and he became so mentally unstable about it, he psycho stalked me for years... That was my first experience with a relentless, cyber-bullying, psycho-stalker and you always remember the first time. ;)
He'd take a break for 6 months, then reappear, signing up my email address to porn or other unwanted spamming sites (my email address never recovered), create a troll account on our forums to post a porn link, contact other members or friends around me, talk shit such as telling one of our black members I said something racist about him which actually caused him to leave because he didn't bother to check with me, etc. Anything and everything extortionist that you could get away with hiding behind a computer, you get the idea...
So this continued on for several years (up to ~3), and on the final year, same routine, he'd show up from another IRC channel, demand to be unbanned, but because of each and every extortionist act of harassment, he made it more permanent and I told him to leave me the f--k alone, and that you'll never be unbanned after all that you did! Still obsessed with one last act up his sleeve, he looked up the admin email on the domain of our #rigg site, emailed it with a tattletale complaint about the PCE CD image archives we'd shared, and SuprSoaps, the member who got us the webspace from his job then informed us we'll have to move, in other words, we got booted off that webspace cause of him...
He finally mostly f--ked off after that, having satisfied his relentless, vindictive craving for some form of revenge. But did he disappear for good ? Nope... Your ban "victims" never disappear, do they ? This forum found that out with Nemesis Nintega, one prominent example... Not that long ago, RegalSin even asked me to see about unbanning him actually... But yeah, this "Vision-Z" anomaly is STILL out there cursing my name to this very day, showing up with other squadrons of hate on this 4chan thing. I never knew or understood what this 4chan thing was, but every time I ever checked my referrer browser on my site and saw a link from 4chan, it was always angry hatemongers trashing me.
Anyway, seeing your ban victims curse your name reminded me of my special satisfied customer, Vision-Z, so it was kinda funny seeing somebody else go through this having experience with it. I'm sure you've got your own Vision-Z in one or more of them. Banning is a powerful thing to a fragile, unstable, bigoted mind... This is all why I've made speeches on occasion and suggested the use of timed bans, 1 week, then 2 weeks, etc. instead of a "Be gone, and NEVER return here!" permaban approach which could inspire the next Vision-Z/Nintega psycho, etc. Like it or not, these psychos can be destructive and it's just not worth it...
All of this is sometimes why I wish I never had anything to do with gamer culture, fan translation projects, etc. psychos like this, vindictive bigots like Jeff Nussbaum, Tom-chan WyrdWad Lipschultz (of XXXSEED Games) (https://i.postimg.cc/zBj4Z5hh/Lipschultz-Smiles-At-XCISING.jpg), omgfloofy AKA Kirsten Miller (

I was cursed as an evil, greedy profiteer ever since, the patch was leaked, fallout drama ensued ever since, hence somewhat similar to the bad blood for you in the defense of profiteering resellers - I had an unpopular opinion while they were the 99% MAJORITY, so I lost...

Yeah, I agree. Although I'd be lying if I hadn't delighted in my ferreting out of Nineko. Interestingly, I wasn't the original admin that banned Nineko. I had just become friends with the admin, and helped him find Nineko's alternate accounts (which actually was part of the reason for my promotions through the ranks).
Nineko was quite the character. He's infamous for leaking the Sonic Megamix hack, which lead to the near destruction of the Megamix team. Hell, he's so notorious, a wiki page about a website has his repeated banning as part of their site's history. Anyway, his tenure at TASvideos was funny. Here's what I'd written in our admin forum about his time there-

So, it is on its way to getting accepted and published. nineko couldn't continue his parade of pretending that TASvideos was out to get him, (http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=202254#202254) if he had a published movie. Thus, he created drama over a user voting yes on his movie (http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=205119#205119), canceled his submission and pretended to lock himself out of his account. Now, he clearly didn't lock himself out, because he had only been forum banned by adelikat at that point (this was during the transition period, and site bans hadn't yet been figured out.). Thus, he used that power to uncancel his submission. He was finally site banned, and people from sonicretro came to the IRC channel at his behest to argue that the movie was unfairly judged. See adelikat's final post in that thread as to why the movie remains canceled. (http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=205529#205529) (as a side note, his Chuck Rock, OverTop, and PDP submission threads are all interesting reads.)
(Additionally, since Noob Irdoh is his account, and voted 'Yes' on OverTop, I think he was angry that no one had taken the initiative to determine that he had been cheating on his submissions, creating multiple accounts, etc.)
He was a fun one to swat down. Granted, we'd let him keep the Noob Irdoh account on the boards, but were doing more and more fun things to keep him having to work harder and harder to get on the site. After we IP banned nineko, he started to use proxies. We'd found software that filtered out known proxies, so he'd start having to use more obscure ones. Once he did that, we wrote a script that banned each IP he used as he used it once. It was fun messing with him.
Ironically, in that thread, nineko said he had a friendship with his alt, Noob Irdoh. This was pretty ironic, as Noob Irdoh and nineko barely overlapped on the site, i.e. nineko gets banned, Noob Irdoh starts posting. We had tons of other evidence over time that the two accounts were both him, but I won't bother with that here. Needless to say, the post by nineko in that thread is one of my favorites.
Anyway, this was a fun trip down memory lane.

Yeah, during our feuds, I took the opposing viewpoint. However, as I think about it, its your work, your blood, sweat and tears, so you should decide if and how you profit off of it. While, you COULD make the argument that you'd be profiting off someone else's IP, and that was unethical... However, are unofficial strategy guides for games unethical? Nope. Seems like the same thing. Companies weren't releasing their software here, choosing to make that profit. It was on the end user whether or not they patched a legitimate copy or a pirated one.

PruvMeRong, the guy that leaked my Felghana patch, another creepy psycho, had sock puppets talking to himself about me, in addition to all the lying denials in emails where he even demanded an apology for wrongly accusing him of being the leaker when it was him all along. In 2012, he looked up my info and crank called my home, leaving a quasi death or assault threat on my answering machine - he simply said, "NightWolve...I'm coming to get you..." and hung up.
Both of these guys came from 4chan and GameFAQs, you can still find posts by them on 4chan... Something about that shithole that attracts all the creepy raging monsters, no doubt about that...
So from what I read, your guy was also in it for the long haul using sabotage and also possible sock puppeting or maintaining multiple accounts to evade bans. It's something to keep in mind, they can be destructive little raging bastards, so best to be careful with the ban stick is all I can advise somebody else. It may have been fun to keep booting him (which is where he will have derived justification for his relentlessness), but it will also have gotten taxing/tiring at some point...
