Title: PC Engine RGB Mod does not work within IFU
Post by: hnns on 08/05/2016, 02:45 PM
Hello people,

I have a white PC-Engine with RGB mod. It works perfectly but when I put it into the IFU to play some CD based games I only get a black picture with a low buzzing sound. When I use the 3 Cinch-Output plugs from the IFU everything works also.
Am I missing something here!? Is the IFU preventing picture output of the PC-Engine?

Thanks

When you modded your system, did you reinstall the shield on the bottom?  Some consoles have that connecting the analog and digital grounds at the expansion port.  If it's not installed, it could be causing your problem.  I had something similar happen.  I jumped the grounds together with a thick wire since the shield was long gone.

no problem :)  I was scratching my head on that same situation a while back, but it was a modded AV booster that i was using.
