Hey guys I can't remember was it the PCE copy of Cottonwjich had a secrete English option?  Or am I confusing it with another PCE shooter?


I know for example the PCE only ninja gidan has a secrete English option.


Any help is greatly appreciated. Also if it is cotton what is the code?  If it isn't cotton then which game am I thinking of?

These options do not exist, as far as I know, in the turbografx version. Another reason not to give the turbo release the time of day.

Thanks. A guy on fb got the game and I mentioned you can play it on English. But couldn't remember how. Or if it was the right game lol

IIRC, it took out the recorded voice acting (which is in Japanese), it usually (if not almost always) more expensive, and Turbografx packaging in general just plain sucks. In nearly all things, buying Turbo is not worth it unless English is critical (ie a text-heavy game).

Heh cool, I've had this game for awhile now and never noticed this. I'll have to check it out.

Left it in my system as it turns out. Yep, press select at the first screen and you get a menu. Language and life options. Nice.

I'm pretty sure that option is indeed in the US version, & even has a level select & you can increase your life & credits.  I'm too lazy to fire it up right now though to see if I'm remembering wrong....

Thanks for this tip, EmperorIng. I was wondering what the differences were but never got around to figuring out the it out. I'm sold now on going for the PCE version.
