I'm having trouble sleeping, looked on my iPad and seen the thread is locked mega WTF?
I just posted in it, it's your thread, unlock if you accidentally did so.
Edit: Oh, I don't get affected by locks as a mod, didn't notice that.
I haven't done anything to lock it, you would see in the date and time where I had edited it if I had locked it myself.
I am unable to unlock it.
Yeah, right you are, I checked the moderation log to see what happened, and it says I did it, heh. It must've been just now when I posted or something. Using my little Android phone, I evidently clicked lock somehow - it happened between 9:15 to 9:30, so yeah, as I was posting, my bad. Anyway, unlocking now.
EDIT: I remember, it was the zoom feature where you place your thumb and index finger and move them outwards to zoom in as I wanted to zoom into the Post Reply button. My thumb landed over Lock first, so that counted as a click first, not an attempt to initiate a zoom with my other finger... I thought there was something weird going on because then the page refreshed, so I wondered why it did that, but since I'm an admin, the Reply button was still perfectly available when the page reloaded, and I was able to post my new reply just fine unaware of what happened, etc.

It's unlocked now. I was the last to post in it, but I didn't lock it.... not intentionally anyway. There's nothing in the moderation log, so I'm gonna blame the goverrats.
Yeah that is really strange, I was reading it then exited the thread back to chit chat and then it was showing as locked, I'll take a screenshot if it happens again.

No need for a screenie. I know it was locked (I had to unlock it, which does show in the mod log), but I don't know how it got locked in the first place.

I thought the only way you can lock a thread is a three step process by editing the first post in the thread?
I was viewing the thread on my iPad I must of pushed a button somewhere without realising it and accidentally locked it in a way I'm mot aware of.
The log would've shown if it was a mod action by us, so if not, you the thread owner is the only possibility left.
I figured out how it happened in my case using my Android phone. I put my thumb and index finger down about the same time to move them outward so I could zoom in to the post reply button. My thumb landed over the Lock button which is there if you're a mod/admin and it doesn't prompt for Yes or No, just does it. When I finished my post, I hit reply and it posted just fine because I am a mod/admin, so I was left unaware the.thread state was changed. Lock only stops regular members.
Anyway, that's how it happened in my case so when I zoom in now, I do it away from the series of mod buttons that appear at the bottom of the thread, then scroll downward since the Post Reply button is near them. Still makes me nervous, but yeah, gotta be extra careful when using a 5.5" inch cell phone screen. I would switch to WAP mobile mode if images would show, but they get disabled so I stick with normal mode.
