What a Bummer , I really enjoyed his accumulative work, and especially loved his whiny Private Hudson character on Aliens who was priceless for the rather smaller part he played !!!
Before someone else brings it up, and not to take anything away from the stories told about Bill's prestigious triple-threat recognition of more or less being the only actor encountering 3 of the most iconic science fiction bad-asses on the planet (Alien, Predator, Terminator) and paying the ultimate price, let's not forget another great character actor who has also definitely met them all, and one could debate, presumably died in the process, Lance Henriksen . . . though Lance might not be considered able to die in Aliens since he was an android, but doesn't deactivated count ? :-k
Anyway, condolences to Bill's family, friends, and fans . . . seemed like a genuinely nice guy, married for 30+years to the same woman, never seemed to be surrounded by conspiracies or nasty rumors (to my knowledge anyway) . . . R.I.P Bill, way too young to go brother, I will miss having the opportunity to see countless new work coming from you very much !!!
