If you could pick a character/hero from any tg16 or duo/cd and use it in any to all other TG to cd games what character would  it be?

I would pick the dragon from dragon spirt.
From the air its the only way to win a game.

I'll go with Ripple. Being able to fly and shoot makes her very useful in a number of instances. Plus she's the apprentice of a powerful witch, so there's a decent amount of magic she may understand. Throw in Topsy and Turvy, and we've got ourselves a solid heroine.

One option sticks out immediately: Guy Kazama.

Keith Courage as mech.

That robot is damn near unstobable (unless you have to jump and can't see that you are about to land on spike or water).

For over 20 years now, the name I use for game files and the main character in RPGs is Kabuki.

I like the sprite/animation/pluckiness of Pac Man from Pac Land (his damn hat and feather = awesome...I'm pretty sure it was inspired by the Swisslers and their Alps). Plus, his floaty controls are awesome (for real).

The princess from Wonderboy III: Monster Lair (player 2 in co-op) was the reason to play co-op.

I wanted Princess Za from Le Bonk to be a playable character, but alas, she never was. But she should have been. Of course, I have never figured out exactly how she would be animated (she shouldn't be limited in her skills/flexibility).

FINAL ANSWER: I want Yuko/Char/Verna (triumvirate from VALIS III) in all other platformers. Do you realize how much better Dracula X would be? Yes, it would be.

Air Zonk!

If Zonk was in other Turbo games you could call it "Invader Zonk"!


Anecdote: When the game "Sonic & Knuckles" came out on Genesis I had imagined that NEC/TTi came up with a similar concept for Air Zonk.  The game card/device looked similar to the look of the Kisado PCE/TG16 converter.  You could connect many of your favorite Turbo games to the "Invader Zonk" board and play as Zonk in games like Keith Courage, Bonk's Revenge and Ninja Spirit! 

It would've been awesome in my mind.  :)

That brings to mind playing Star Parodier as the PC Engine. Ah, the self-indulgence of beating games on the PC Engine as the PC Engine.

Air Zonk

This can work so well with other Shooters and OP in a platformer flying around. Also Air Zonk can really reinvent himself to fit the need.

I would love an Invader Zonk.

If I remember correctly it was Cannabis in the Japanese version, and WD translated it into Cannavis to prevent chronic abuse by children and adults alike ;)
