after seeing the wonderful dragons trap hd, i am wondering what are the chances for a classic pc engine game to be remade such as pc genjin 2
i hope remake hd version of pc genjin 2 will be made similar to dragon trap hd, if konami allow dotemu to make one, then that would be awesome, there has not been a remake since 2003 hudson remake of pc genjin, but is there enough demand for these classic remakes/sequel such wonderboy dragons trap. ultimate ghost n goblins, duck tales remake, Castle of Illusion hd , etc
Chances are practically zero, unfortunately. Especially since the last bonk was cancelled (wasn't even a full game)
Bonk 2 is one of my favorite games ever, but in America it is a very niche game, much more so than Bonk 1.
It's not all a loss though. Certain emulators like openemu on Mac, as well as others, let you try different graphical effects. You can make the pixels sharper, add a crt effect or even turn pixel edges into curvy lines. Try stuff out!
