I just want to thank Keith Courage publicly for re-capping my American Duo. He did a fantastic job, and it works like new (maybe better). :dance:
If you have a Duo and you are putting off doing the recap yourself (as I was), send it to him and you will get your precious console back in a few days new and improved. I had purchased the kit from Console 5 as I do have soldering skills, but I felt I wanted to trust this to someone who has experience with these consoles. I'm really glad I did this. Anyway, that is all. :)
Congrats on saving a Duo! All those surface mounted caps are not easy to remove lol good call on sending it off. I'm always impressed by these guys on here that re-cap these all the time.
