Title: PCE DUO - R691 value?
Post by: un1qu3 on 08/16/2018, 11:21 AM
Hiya, first blood.

I recently picked up a PC Engine Duo off ebay and was doing a recap with a hot air station. I had C610 pop while heating, and it blew off R605, D601 and R691 along with it. I should've known better.

I was able to recover R605 and D601 and put them back, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where in my work area R691 flew off to. Anyone know what the resistor value of that one is so that I can order a replacement? Or is it even necessary for running the console?

Thanks in advance.

Oh, disregard. Spotted it in a repair video. I guess it's 15k ohms.

That said, is there any easy way to look these sort of things up rather than hunt for high-res pics of the board?

R691 marking is 153, so it's a  15k resistor ^^
