Just wondering what the average age might be around here. I hope I am not offending anybody by asking this.
Beginning from 13 since that's the lowest allowed age for registering on a message board. I chose to input individual numbers rather than groups to get more specific results.
19. :)
24, will be 25 on the 25th this month.
just turned on 32 last month (ok, be honest it was the month before last month :-$ )
I am 11031 days old.
28, clinging on to my 20's with all my might.
The big 3-0
I would've guessed most people who are into the PC-E/TG-16 to be in their mid 20s to early 30's - Looks like I'm mostly right.
Go 28!!!!
We're in the lead!
Turning 24 this summer.
29 going on 30.

19. Kitsunexus, I demand to know what month you were born.
Quote from: Keranu on 05/02/2007, 09:38 PM19. Kitsunexus, I demand to know what month you were born.
I was born on July 29th. ^_^
Arr, you're the youngest one here then, I was born December 13th!
Quote from: Keranu on 05/02/2007, 10:52 PMArr, you're the youngest one here then, I was born December 13th!
July comes before December...doesn't that mean I'm older than you by a couple of months?
34 i'm a old man
Still there are people that are older then me... over at digital press
Ha, now 30's in the lead!
I'm going to be twenty-one in June, so that was my vote.
Another 19 year old here....April 25th was my b'day, does this make me the youngest here?
23 for me.
30 for the win!
22 here
28 over here... I remember playing TG-16 R-Type when I was 11, and I got my Duo when I was 15... geez has it been that long...

Nope, I still hold this belt it looks like. Actually come to think of it, I remember there was a poster here many months ago who I believe was younger than me, like maybe 17 years old?
32
I like how there's a sudden cutoff after 34, then nothing till 50+.
Does that mean we have to stop playing the PCEngine when we turn 35, and can't touch it again until we're 50?
I don't think the one who voted 50+ is serious, but what do I know.
You're probably right.
For number nerds:
mean - 28.4
median - 28.5
std.dev - 6.3

I don't know... I think it was Victor Ireland.
It was me.
I am fifty-fucking-five years old.

24, I figured you guys would be my age and older, because we are the only ones who remember when games didnt suck ass and "Polygons" were not the sign of a great game. And remember when we were kids and they had toy guns that looked like real uzzis and stuff? Now look at what kids have, flourescent green and pink guns, I tell you its a generation of wimps forming.

yes, those or the real uzis. it's difficult to say, but some kids grow up with flourescent toys and others with the real stuff. sad anyway.

God yeah. This millenium really sucks, everything has turned gay!
All about polygons? Nobody talks of polygons anymore. People did that in 1995. A horrible gaming era. The time of great games is just getting started.
I meant the CG graphics in general.
This millenia isn't so bad. We have TG-16 forums!! In 1992 there were only mythical 'bulletin boards.' You were pimp with your 14.4 modem. Cell phones were for Neurologist and Coke Dealers, and all the cool kids had pagers.
What the FUCK was email in 1992?!?! But oh, back in 92, I could throw a football a quater mile. How much you want to bet I could throw stevek or nat a football from here??
Back in 1992 or so, i think i was using the 33mhz 386, or it could have been the 486 DX4 100mhz which i acquired sometime around DOOM or DOOM 2's release..
I sported a 2800 baud modem for a while, then moved to either a 14K or 28k modem sometime with the 486. Not to mention that kick-ass 4X CD-Rom.
Believe it or not, I actually had an Internet e-mail address in 1992. It was ridiculously long. I remember often times the messages I would be sending were shorter than the address itself:
nat.hall@bytewarrior.altcit.eskimo.com
That was before the WWW, but I spent a lot of time on UseNet forums and Gopher. Gopher was the shit before the WWW hit the scene.
I ran a dial-up electronic BBS ("Bulletin Board") service in the mid-90's, too.

I couldn't throw a football particularly well, but they'd always handoff or pass to me because I could outrun everyone and score a touchdown. I set the Track & Field school records that year for 50 and 75 yard dash. You know, that was 15 years ago, now that I'm thinking about it I should go back and see if anyone's broken them. I wonder if they would even release that information to me or if I'd get an escort off the school property.
Selly, you never gave your age. Although I still don't know if you are a man or a woman. Are you even human? :-k
Keranu, I seriously thought you were older than 19! Add 10 years to that and you got my age.
That means he wasn't even alive when the PC Engine was developed and initially released!
Quote from: Pcenginefx on 05/29/2007, 12:30 PMKeranu, I seriously thought you were older than 19! Add 10 years to that and you got my age.
To make things even more weird, I actually first started posting on this forum when I was like 14 or 15 under the name Luta Gemma. I need to find that other user that posted briefly here who was younger than me!
Quote from: natThat means he wasn't even alive when the PC Engine was developed and initially released!
That little PC Engine is BARELY older than me! I was born on December 13th, he/she/it was born in October 1987!
26. Wish I was still 19 though! My 20th year was definitely my best to date for a number of reasons!

It was my lame Napolean Dynamite quote adaptation. Yeah, I skipped my ten year reunion and the 15 is right around the corner. I had a really good time in Highschool, but have no desire to go to any reunions. I remember things and people the way they were in my life at that time and don't want that to change. I've kept in touch with a few good friends throughout the years and that's all I need. I still want to see if my passed balls in a single inning or PIM's in game/season records still stand though...

Sorry, shipping's too high. The post office won't take my currencies either. I can paypal you some though.

Ive been out of High School for 6 years, and I already cant remember most of the people I went to high school with, with a few exceptions like my ex-girlfriends and buddies I used to drink with, but other than that, going to my high school reunion would be weird. I dont think most of the people that I used to hang out with would go to the reunion anyway. I think im entering some kind of "Mid 20's crisis" if I think about high school reunions LOL.
Screw reunions in the ass. I hope I never have to enter my old high school again.
I will most likely never go to one unless my wife drags me to one of hers.
I most certainly would never go to one of my own. I barely went to fucking school anyway the last couple years of high school, I skipped half the time.

I actually dated a girl in high school that thought the same thing, and she was hot. GOD LOVE HER. Somewhere, her and her penchant for love in the pooper and her incredible mental instability is making some man happy and insensed all at the same time...
As far as my experience in high school, You get what you give in high school, period.

- NOKIA Cell Phone

- A Lexmark All-In-One Series Printer, Copier, Fax, Photo printer, and scanner
- $100 spending money
- Cordial cherry chocolates
- Lindt Lindor chocolates
Sorry that I didn't get any hookers. :(

Dude, I got a box of those Cordial cherry chocolates for Christmas from my landlord. The box is on top of my fridge and there's still like one left. I've been eating them at the approximate pace of 1 per month since then. Preservatives, baby!
As for those Lindt Lindor balls, I get those every year, too. I always find them in the oddest places. They're really good, but you can only handle so many. I think my cats get hold of them and assume they are some kind of toy.
Awesome gifts man, so, what u going to spend ur bill on?

I thought he waste it on booze, but if he went to a strip club that $100.00 would be gone in a second.
"20 bucks, 20 minutes!"
Yeah, I could pay for a lapdance but I'm not a working man at the moment. I'll probably just go blow it on some more anime and game time at my local internet cafe. :)
And Lindt chocolates rock. The only thing I like better are those Moritz Icy Squares. I LOVE icy squares! :D
Strip clubs are a waste of time. It's like "lookie, but no touchie", y'know? Get a whore, dude, and get a box of rubbers. It's about the same price as a decent strip club, but so much more rewarding.

You don't go to strip clubs to get yourself all horned up, you go there to have a drink and just bullshit with your buddies.
Wait... That's just like a regular bar... :-k
