That will be me it that doesn't come out in the US. It is not a remake this time. First new sequel since Star Soldier 64.

I remember reading that this was going to be revealed at the Hudson Caravan awhile back but forgot about it; thanks for reminding me with the video link! Looks pretty sweet.

Wow, the Wii is actually GOOD for something! Looks like Ikaruga cranked up a notch and with better music.

This looks great and supposedly will support the classic controller (no wiimote craziness required).  Sadly, I doubt that it will ever come to the good ol' US of A.
