Hey all,
I was just going through my HuCard collection and noticed something unique about my copy of Neutopia 2: all the text on the back is blue, and there is a graphic of the Hudson Bee on it!

Of my 57 HuCards, Neutopia 2 is the only one with blue ink.

Does anyone know why this is? Is this like, the Canadian version or something weird like that? Or, what does the back of your N2 chip look like? Did any other titles have blue ink on the back? I have other games that were released *after* Neutopia 2 that still have the regular black ink...weird.

Very good observation! It seems like I've seen some Japanese HuCards like that, but I don't recall any of my American TurboChips looking like that. I don't own Neutopia II, but I'll take a look at my other HuCards sometime.

my neutopia 2 has the blue printing you described on the back too.

As does mine.

Same blue ink here on the back of my copy of Neutopia II.  I checked the rest of my meager collection, and all my other TG-16 games have black ink.  All of my PC Engine games have blue ink, except for the Arcade Card Pro (which has red ink).

I think that neutopia 2 is the only turbo chip with blue ink on the back. Its like when the cd games came in white cases. strange, huh?

Most of the Japanese cards are blue (in various shades) however:
Shinobi & Batman are black
Powerdrift is a very dark blue
New Zealand Story and Kyukyoku Tiger are red
System card 2.0 is green

Maybe there is a puzzle to unlock the secrets of the universe here?

If you lay out all the HuCards ever made in a rectangular pattern, in chronological order, the blue-inked ones spell out a message that indicates that I am, in fact, God.

I always kinda pictured it would make a giant Hudson bee.

Hit the Ice and Chase HQ..... Both are by Taito

Welll how about those rogue CD-Rom games that have blue spine srtipe instead of a green one, like Avenger and Chris's Adventure?

I haven't seen those games, that's also interesting!

I also remember some being purple... isn't the back of Genpei Toumaden purple ? or was it Tatsunoko Fighter ?...
To add to the series, the back of Space Invaders is yellow/orange...
