My Duo almost never boots up HuCards first try...
I've had my HuCard converter for less than a year and it looks as bad as my NES games did before I started cleaning them.
Is there a cleaning kit that anyone recommends for the Duo and the cards?
Would I be better off opening up the system and cleaning the contacts by hand?
Any info appreciated!
I've never had to clean the contacts inside any of my Turbo systems.
I use a fine-grain metal nail file on the contacts of my cartridges (HuCards) and this swiftly eliminates any problems from anything that's been giving me trouble.
ummm I suggest that you buy those Presured "Air Spray". just blow the dusts out.. should do it.. anything liquid I do suggest...

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
Works great on the contacts of the HuCards and does wonders cleaning systems, even the white systems.
that magic eraser works wonders, seriously, I was amazed. Wasn't someone on here washing hucards in his dishwasher

I took mine through the local car wash.

I actually wash them by hand. Although they'd be fine in a dishwasher, I don't think that it'd do a good enough job.
I just happened to recieve the illegal pirate bootleg HuCard I bought a while ago today and its filthy. Maybe I'll take a few photos as I clean it to show how well it works. :P

Haha, YES PLEASE DO!
I tried it with my filthy raiden; washed in the sink with the sponge as if it were a dish or cup. Came out nice and clean and worked great :D I was worried at first, but something had to be done about the filth
