I read that this morning.

Now I need to get me a copy of Exile!

The Turbo version wins by default because it has a nicer looking title screen.

In the end, that's all that really matters in comparisons between any two games.

The Turbo wins by default because of its nudity.

Seriously though, I'll have to nab a copy of that game sometime.

I've all ways prefer the turbo version any ways.

To it's spoken dialogue, music etc beside it's full size title screen.

Still at least renovation try there best for the genny version....

I guess then that the PC Engine version also loses. :(

Huh?  All the weapons are the same.

EDIT:  Nevermind, you're talking about the sword graphic in the letter X of the title screen.  Sorry, I'm a bit slow or something.  :)

I need to pick up the Genesis version :D ...just because

While the Genesis font might be small and all caps (like the first Exile on TGCD), the TGCD version didn't even bother to change the text routine from the Japanese one. It uses the Japanese system card English letters - " H e l l o. T h i s  l o o k s  t e r i b l e.".  Atleast with Cosmic Fantasy they fixed it (even though it was still a poor method).

That was a nice read.  I had experienced the Genny version, but the TGCD is the clear winner.

yes.  that and the box art. :P

slick read, indeed.  but, what the heck kind of statement is this?

QuotePresentation: Both games are exactly the same in this matter, only different.
not sure if a more blatant oxymoron could ever be typed.

Outstanding article, loved it!

And I agree with Joe about the SEGA logo when booting it up, that makes the Genesis version a clear winner for me.

it's actually quite ace =D>
it wasn't until the second read through that i caught on to the fact that it was indeed intended to juxtapose itself.
