Looks like Masna. Those silly guys!
Also, WTF does it say in the moon language that's above the N and A?
Masnya or Masaya. Everyone says Masaya, but the y looks like its part of a "n" like they tried to be stylish, but the n could be a "a" too. .

The katakana is "me-sa-i-ya."
Id stick with Masaya.
Yeah, it could be MASAIA.
I always read it as Masaya.
It looks like Masiya :-k

It never even crossed my mind that slanted line was supposed to be an "i". I always read it as "a" since it looks identical to the two other "a"s in the word.
This is like that volfied or volfiev thread, haha.

I wonder why they forgot the first a... from the katakana "sa"
I always thought that it was Masiya, but pcecp.com says that it's Masaya.
On a side note: I checked my Japanese Double Dungeons manual for a correct spelling, but no dice (no English); when I checked my US version, I found that the manual is in French. I bought it a couple of years back from TZD, but apparently never opened the manual; now I wonder if I have any more Canuck versions.
Hah, I never noticed the N resemblence before! I've always been pronouncing it the correct way "Masaiya" ever since I heard someone pronounce it that way.
I used to call it Masna for years upon years, but some time ago, I somehow figured out it was Masaya. #-o
Well, they didn't use romaji to transliterate the English word (as mentioned above, then it would've been メサイヤ - MESAIYA.
All the Japanese websites spell it as "MASIYA".
Kinda looks like they wanted to be "Messiah" but screwed it up :)

That's kana for " (it) scales and rotates on Target Earth". 馬鹿外人...
That pic is actually from Target Earth, but I removed the stars with a space-age program called something like "Adobe Photoshop". I didn't want people to know that I got that logo from a freakin' Genesis game. I am so ashamed now. :(
I agree, those Japanese foreigners are foolish!
W00t! You dirty Sega traitor! Off with your head now! Someone sharpen up the moderator's death axe.
We all know Redifer loves the genesis, haha. I found out he was the mod at some sega forum. I bet he is sharpening his genesis mod golden axe for your battle
That would be awesome if Keranu and I got into some epic battle, continuously banning each other in their respective forums.
lol, only if the golden axe was involeved 8)
I'm ready to axe duel anytime anywhere. 8)
I have the Legendary Axe Readied for you Master Keranu!!
I'm sure it won't let you down!
With that pegasus star thing, maybe they wanted people to associate them with Saint Seiya.
