On ebay, came with the tg-16, 2 controllers, rf unit (into the garbage), 3 games (i didn't have neutopia) and a TURBO BOOSTER PLUS! Usually they go pretty expensive I've heard, so did I make out ok?
PS- Didn't come with an AC adaptor, but I just use my Sega Genesis one..or will that f up my Turbo?
PPS- I've had a turbo for like 10 years, but I got it in shit shape..figured an upgrade wouldn't hurt
It's hard to determine whether or not you got a good deal without knowing what you paid.
Like Nat said, it depends on what you paid (obviously), though the Turbo Booster can be bought seperately in the $20 range. I can't answer your AC adapter question, but if you want the real deal, then you could always buy a new one from Aaron.
Damn I just noticed..whoops! I paid $40 for it all. I used a Genny AC every time for my Turbo and it worked fine, just wondering if it's healthy to do so.
Why do you need a big piece of plastic to only hold 2 HuCards?
Not a bad deal for $40.

Uh, maybe for the A/V jacks.
Ain't there memory on that summbitch too? Or am I mistaken. =P~
There be memory in the plus, and that's what he says he got, so yep.
Yes, he got a good deal. :)
I had a similar lot on ebay sell for 53.50 + 20 shipping just a few days ago.

Was that $40 when all was said and done or did they hit you for an arm and a leg on shipping?
$40 is a good deal though, for sure. Good deals on eBay for domestic stuff are rare.
You'd think that domestic would be cheaper than imports! :? I imagine it was back in the day :-k
YEah, a lot of imports fetched a pretty penny in the 90's. Funny how times change.
Yeah shipping was 15 bones. The guy put the header "Turbo Grafx16" for his auction and a buy-it-now so I snapped it up before someone else could. I got it in the mail today, and it works lovely..I haven't tried out the save thingy. How is it accessed?

Your game has to support it. I think Neutopia does, I can't remember. I know for a fact Neutopia II does.
Just find an option in your game to create a save state. In Neutopia you have to visit a special person in a house or something. You probably have other games that support it, but I know for a fact you have Neutopia. :)
EDIT: Also, many games that don't let you create a save state still save high score tables for all of eternity.

There are actually 27 bones in the average adult human arm and 26 in the leg. So it's either a partial arm or partial leg, or a combination of the two, but definitely not a complete arm and leg.
EDIT: To preserve Grammarica the Beautiful
Neutopia 1 does support save files. So does Tricky Kick and Dragon's Curse.
Yep just tried out Neutopia it works! I've also had Dragon's Curse for awhile..gonna check that one too.
