We were discussing in another thread about the age of duos; I was thus inspired to make this poll.

IT DOESN'T PLAY BRAND NEW THOUGH, DOES IT!?
I have one August 1992 US duo and one September 1992 US duo.
Only Duos have dates on the bottom.
That said, my US Duo was manufactured in October 1992.
Turbo Cd discman drives have the manufacture date on the bottom.

Considering it didn't come out until 1993, you must have a prototype.
He did say it was a duo R... then again, this is supposed to be the US turbo duo forum...
January 1993.
Why is THIS particular thread stickied? I don't think it's bad enough to put up top in the "ignore pile".

Yeah, right. Spin us another yarn, you foolish tool.
---------------
Mine was born in October 1992, so I'm cool like nat. Well, maybe just my Duo is.
Maybe our Duos rolled off the assembly line together. Perhaps they are long lost brothers, reunited after 15 years through the power of this forum.
March 1993.
March 1993. I wonder if that was the last month they were made for the US or just regular Duo systems all together. D-lite can probably give the most likely answer on this one.
88 Japanese Duo, dont know about my US TG16 - have to take a look.

It ain't just you.
I don't know when my Duo-R was made because there's no year on the bottom.
Actually after looking at the Duo again, its got no date on the bottom, but the boards inside are dated 88.
I demand pictures. What you're looking at cannot possibly be a date, since the first duo was released in 1991.

Apparently 2005, although it technically didn't exist for me until 2007.
The Turbo Duo I still have from around launch time says September 1992. My other Turbo Duo says October 1992.
The bottom of my Turbo and the docking bay with CD drive on it, has no date, but the CD drive itself lists March 1990, so that is what I voted.
All the rest of my hardware (Duo-RX, Supergrafx, Briefcase unit, Coregrafx, etc.) have no dates on them.
