Title: Karma
Post by: nat on 01/29/2008, 07:13 PM
I know this is a new thing, but someone brought up a good point in chat.

Is there any way to lock out new users from being able to applaud/smite until a mod or admin verifies them/enables it for them?

As it stands it doesn't seem like there is anything keeping someone from creating a dummy account and applauding/smiting their "real" account as much as they want.

You can't post Karma if you haven't posted 25 messages.

Eh, I've taken it off.  Don't think it adds any value to users, just adds something else to piss them off if they get bad karma.

Don't worry.  We can still use post counts to boost our egos!  :)
