Title: 1990 PCE/SGX game of the year

117 options, and you're only allowed one. choose wisely.  8)

(how many options are allowed in a poll, anyway?)

Hmmm.  A lot of options- yet strangely not too many strong ones.  I'm going for one of my personal faves here- Jigoku Meguri- Bonze Adventure

Ghouls 'n Ghosts basically blows all the other non-USA games out of the water. By a mile. The only close contenders are things like Outrun and Batman.

If I were to include USA games I might have picked something different....

Super Star Soldier. Aero Blaster is close though, also Momotaru Katsugeki.

I voted King of Casino since I do actually love that game and that no one else would vote for it.

King of Casino is really cool for what it is. I like it a lot. Best of 1990? Not by a long shot.

Many, many choices are available for this list, but out of them, I have chosen After Burner II. It was one of the first PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 that I have been exposed to through SuperPCEngineGrafx's site (https://www.superpcenginegrafx.net/music.html), and I was mindblown by the sound that was put out, even so I wanted to listen to the first song (which was all I've listened to in order to avoid spoiling myself in case of meeting the game in real exposure) over and over again. It still remains one of the most glorious ones to listen to even now, even with many others heard, and through videos of its gameplay, it looks to be of an incredibly fun game.

There are many notable choices from this list, as well, such as Bomberman and Super Star Soldier. However, I did not find any of them to be as hard-hitting as that game.

Has this poll been reset at all, because I swear it's let me vote more than once.

Shit that's right- the Japanese one has an English option...  (just like the American one has a Japanese option)
I'd like to change my vote Guyjin-  :P - there's no change vote option?  Blecch.
JB was one of my favorites BITD.

I want to get Devil Crash badly Digi! I am not much of a fan of pinball but Naxat's pinball trilogy (Alien, Devil, Jaki) are awesome!  :)

Heh. I must've accidentally picked that up from you :P. However, it was not worded exactly the same as your phrase ("A long list of games again, but not a lot of strong options that appear here" is what I have said).
