Post by: VestCunt on 03/20/2008, 11:00 PM
Anyone see this?  I had it on my watch list but forgot to snipe it.

What is it?  A pirate?  The famicom version in a nes cart??

A mock up was my first guess but the seller has perfect feedback... :-k

Looks like it has to be a fake to me. They even used the same artwork for the TGCD version and it looks like it was just printed and pasted on the cartridge. It looks like the top left corner of the cart says something. "ANGEL"?

Its probably from that dude who makes custom carts. I think someone posted a link on this forum awhile ago.

Yeah i bet it's a reproduction since Ys only had a famicom release no nes one.

These sites sell them.

that's nice, but they should be marked in a way that makes it obvious they aren't 'legit'.

Wasn't the Ys Famicom game universally panned? Why would you want to play it on the NES?

The Ys Famicom version wasn't that bad.  It just didn't have the amazing music and visuals like the other versions did.  The gameplay is still classic Ys. :)

Ys II on Famicom has the opening cinema.
