Hello everyone, my name is Missa and I am a FX addict.
I have an FX, two controllers... and no games for it. :)
Hello all, I too wield the awesome force that is the FX
Current Favorite: Battle Heat
Still Want: Nirgends, Zeroigar, Farland Story.......etc.
I recently got an FX and am enjoying the hell out of it. May whatever god (or lack thereof) forgive my insolence for not owning one until now. [-o<
I've got one for me and 2 on my store.
I own about 8 games personally but the store has about 80% of the available titles.
I love the PC-FX!
I have a PC-FX with two controllers and five games. It's cool.
I have a system and about 14 games now I think. At pcfxworld, there is an owners list, but I don't think Aaron updates it anymore.

It has not been updated in MANY moons.

Yeah I saw that list and saw that the newest entries were from 2005. It's too bad though, it would be cool to see how many of those guys are still active in the PC-FX scene.
I have one. Thanks Nat. It's a sweetie for sure and I busted up Chip Chan Kick last weekend.
Got a FX as well...
I also got a PC-FX. I bought it together with the game Angelique Special. Actually i own 3 games (Angelique Special, Battle Heat and Langrisser FX), another game is on its way (Farland Story FX), so the collection is still growing :)
I have a mangled PC-FX, two FXGAs, Blue Breaker, and Miraculum.
Aahhhhhh....I finally got Zenki FX in my collection (bringing me to a grand total of 8 games), and it is excellent. It's the first 'expensive' purchase I've made for the system (all other games were $25 and under) and it was totally worth it. Really short, and in all actuality very basic, but the little touches put on are fantastic (airplane, car jumping out at the girl, giant frog, etc.)
Highly recommended for any PC-FX owner, but I'm sure you guys know that already :)
I've had my PC-FX for almost a year and it's a great system. I have Battle Heat, Galaxy Fraulein Yuna FX, Boundary Gate, Miraculum, Anime Freak Vol 1, the Cocktail Pack and Zenki.

The board just toasted my reply for some reason...But in short, there is a FX thread about something unrelated, which has a listing of 10 zenki secrets or so in it. It is in the first 2 pages, but I lack the bandwith to find it for you. Check it out if you have not already.
Also, while it is short, I think Zenki has the most replay value of all the FX games.
I have a PC-FX and 14 games and increasing 8)
I have ME-FX and some isos. I also suck. ](*,)
I am currently about to be anxiously awaiting my PC FX in the mail.
Can't wait to set it up next to my turbo. >_<
You know it
Lets see, first quoth had it, went to Mike, then to me...a well traveled FX I tell ya
I've got one with chip chan kick, Battle Heat,Angelique special and Last Imperial prince. And I too love the FX.

I HAVE AN FX. BITCHES.
I've had it since FallingJunk was known as RisingStuff!

Unrelated but, I've always wondered why people seem to hate on Rising Stuff. Granted, I only shopped there sometime but that was because of a personal lack of money$ - the times I did, things worked out pretty well. : /

Sensei (Kevin), stepped down from most of the sales/customer relations (he had a kid, and crap). Then, Alex stepped in.
Alex is about as competent/useful as a condom with a hole in it.
Orders would get jacked up, Alex would drag his feet with fixing stuff (and then post pictures of himself on Facebook laying with money, like the hipster gaijin tool he is.)
You'd have things special ordered for you and they'd just get thrown up on the site store for others to buy right out from under you. Making special orders basically mean "hey help stock the store, I'm a dumbass!". I loled at the one MSX cart on their site called "Scaptrust". The game is called Crimson. The stylized katakana must have confused Alex, so he just went with the plain-english SCAPTRUST text on the cart and used that as the title instead. Because, publisher names are the same as game names and all!
Alex would say "Hey I am getting a buncha these things in". You'd say you might want one, then back out when the things suck, and he'd get mad.
I had this happen with PC-98's. He got some in, untested. Had no idea how to use them and couldn't tell me shit about them, so I passed. He acted like I forced him into ordering PC-98s. really, he was already getting them in. He got more than one. If I had him order them, I wouldn't have special ordered 3+ of them. Retard.
Then there was this christmas/holiday sale. I ordered like 30 things and was told to wait to pay because one item wasn't in yet.
I sent various PMs over the course of SIX MONTHS. No replies from Alex. Then I hear from someone else that my stuff was lost in the mail . Why wasn't I told? I should be the first to know!
A year goes by. Still nothing. Lot's of unanswered PMs. Huge blow out on this forum about how jacked RisingStuff became. Kevin stepped back in and tried to resolve it. It would have been fine, but coincidentally, Japan shipping costs shot way up, making it not worth it to complete my now year-old order. I passed on it, thankful that Kevin tried to fix things, and still pissed off that someone as stupid as Alex was allowed to take over.
Not to mention, every time there was a problem, Alex would always attack the customer. He'd pass blame onto the CUSTOMER, and make it out like they're being a whiney bastard. he's registered on this forum as JapanesePeso, and he has posted here and on other forums just to start bitching at people who were upset about his jank-ass customer service.
This basically made most people come to hate rising stuff in favor of Hit Japan/ Game of Japan.
HJ/GoJ always comes through, has good customer service, and prompt service.
Okay then, hate sounds justified :p
Thanks for explaining that.
I guess I should be glad all the orders I made went fine - only the first order I made took longer but I got a bonus game...for some reason. I don't know why but when I ordered Tokimeki Memorial for the Saturn, I got one of the adventure game/spinnoff/side stories with it - a gesture that leaved a good impression.

That was probably when kevin was in charge. He liked to hook people up with little goodies.
He gave me a New Zealand Story, and Pia Carrot FX for free, IIRC

Sweeeet! : D
I'd recommend www.japangamestock.com. They used to sponsor my website/podcast and I've heard nothing but good things. The guy who runs it is really cool and great to deal with. I ordered a bunch of stuff from him in the past with no troubles. Not much for PC-FX, but tons of PC Engine games.
I got a PC-FX this year and ChipChanKick
cant wait to get more!
I have one.
Still need to see if it works after my basement flood.
I've actually had my PC-FX for a few years now.
Current legit-owned titles include Battle Heat, Little Cats, Last Imperial Prince, Pia Carrot/Can Can Bunny Extra DX combo, Chip Chan Kick, and First Kiss Story.
Recently got a boxed PC-FX, but alas, it was ill. The sound was weak and barely audible. Looking like this machine may also start having issues with caps. BlueBMW has it in his hands now.
Oh, dear. It's been a few years since I got my PC-FX. When would I expect issues to start coming up?
Bernies FX is the first Ive seen of cap issues on the FX. But its definitely caps. There are about 30 each of radial and SMT caps in the FX. Taking the system apart is a little cumbersome (not x68000 cumbersome tho!) Once you have the boards out it should be an easy swap. Ill be making some cap charts in a day or two.
Got mine today!
Congrats man! Pick up any games?
No games yet, I guess I should pick up Battle Heat or something for starters. I also want to play some Pia Carrot, I love 90s date sims and think it's awesome I can play one in English on NEC hardware.
Nice. :) If you give WtPC a chance I think you'll enjoy it.
Joining the club, got a system and 2 controllers awhile back as well as 3 legit games.
Nice! The more, the merrier... as this section needs more activity!
Already made mention of my owning a PC-FX before, but I'll toss a post in here as well. Gotta agree with vette, this section doesn't get nearly enough activity. The system is awesome and credit should be given where it is due! If you don't own a PC-FX... buy one!
With the translations filler and Esperknight are currently working on/kicking out (thanks guys!!!) and the promising horizon of the dev scene, there is no better time to own this kick ass machine.
Pick up that phone and call 1-888 BUY PCFX today. Operators are standing by. :P
Damn advertisements...
I have an FX, an FX-GA for PC-98, and a complete collection of games and peripherals, including all demo discs.

If you have an FX-GA for either PC-9801 or Win (or was it DOS?), can you play normal PC-FX games as well? Not going to get one, but
curious.

While there are a couple discs which come with the GA which won't run on the PC-FX console, the primary purpose of the FX-GA is playing regular PC-FX games.
The most disappointing thing about the GA is how unintegrated it is with the PC. All it really uses the PC for is the CD-ROM drive. Other than that, it's pretty much an entire console that slides into your PCI slot. Power, controller, video output are all handled through ports on the GA directly - can't output on your PC monitor, use PC game controller, keyboard, etc.

That's a disappointment indeed. I thought you could use your PC monitor at least.
Still, pretty impressive they managed to cram an entire system on a card...
I've recently got one a few months ago. Like new, original owner in box, complete :D I've wanted one since the 90's and now I own one finally. I own about 30 something original games. I try hard to wait out until I find ones complete with reg card and spine. No spine no deal. I want it like it was.I LOVE THAT machine.
