Because I was annoyed not having inserts, made a couple of them for your jewel cases. PS: I always hated the name Fighting Street, we all know what it was called in the arcades. The Street Fighter website has a really funny explanation for the name change on the Turbografx (basically that it was popular to change names of arcade games for home consoles).

Update 11/6 - Here are links to the hi-res version of the jewel case, and added a SF I manual insert per request. Since Street Fighter was the true arcade name, I think it justified the "red" arcade color coding.

SF I case insert + manual insert

Quite nice.  I wouldn't mind a high-res version of Ys to replace the plain black with yellow stripe version I made for my Duo pack-in.  :)

yes, I originally had the Ys with case insert, but like you I now own the pack-in version. Don't ask what happened to the original one I bought though.... :cry:

I have the Duo Ys as well as the TGCD Ys, and they are both in desperate need of TLC. I'd definitely like to get the high-res of these.  :mrgreen:

Speaking of manuals, anyone have a Neutopia manual and or box that they could scan for me? I can't find a jpeg that is good enough to print.

Are you looking for a scan of the US release of Neutopia?  If so, I can scan the manual tonight and post tomorrow.

ok Street Fighter I manual scan. When you print make sure it is 9.5 inches tall (it should be correct size).

Street Fighter II CE was at one point being considered for CD-Rom release. The Hucard size was an issue of concern, but obviously NEC figured out how to squeeze it all on a tiny Hucard.

I am using Mediaface templates and paper, and free software that came with them. You can also use the paper of your choice and photoshop, and just make sure you size them correctly.

Thanks again for the scans, is there a insert for the Salamander game as well? The res looks great on all the stuff (necro and yours).

The Salamander game that I have is a Hu card in a black Hu case with foam. I thought that they made a CD version of it as well which would have an insert but I looked on PCECP.com and it only showed a Hu card version.

The PC Engine Hu cases came in 2 varieties.  1) Black ones were similar to Keith Courage cases (without the arm) and usually included foam so the Hu cards would stay in place. 2) White ones which allowed for back inserts and were molded so the Hu card stayed in place. I can take a photo of the spine but unfortunately cannot upload photos from home  ](*,) only from work so it will have to wait until Monday.

Glad u liked the scans. Here is my attempt at a Salamander Spine. Note - I don't have the correct kanji for the Salamander name, so I went English. If anyone could be kind enough to get me a nice scan to work with I will update. There are some other characters on the back that I didn't have a high enough res to work with.

I also can upload a PDF file later that is sized to print. All you need is a full page sticker (Avery makes on) print, cut you are set. Here is what I take says Salamander, based on an auction on ebay. But the characters look different than the spine. Someone on here should know:

Oh man, i remember switching between lcd and crt. Things were way different and such a pain to do graphics that looked same on both monitors.

lol, with my current LCD I see everything, that's why I almost hesitated reposting that graphic. Good news is I still have the original PSD I used to create it, so updating it shouldn't be too hard.

Duo-R, this is real helpful, buddy! Thanks for the upload. I've been needing an insert for Ys for quiet some time now. Any suggestions for printing these out? Also, great work Ivan. Really dig the Gate of Thunder work.

Rather if I took this to Office Depot to get printed (I lake a quality printing setup), any suggestions on what paper to use?
