Great shooter or greatest shooter ever? Discuss.

It's definitely a great shooter. I remember playing a Zero Gunner arcade with my brother at the Pacman Arcade in Pasadena a few years back. Those were good times as the Pacman Arcade is closed down now.
If you like ZG2 give Avenger a whirl.

i think there is nothing like "teh greatest shooter" out there. but definitely greater there are. for ex. Gate of Thunder, Winds of Thunder, Do/donpachi, Axelay, Seirei Senshi Spriggan, R-Type, Pulstar and so on..
but this also depends on each own taste.
Zero Gunner 2 is probably the greatest shooter ever on Dreamcast at least. That game is so much fun!

yeah..that's now a completely different zero point and i amost would agree with^^
Its fun, but I'm not a fan of polygons in 2D shooters usually.
I like it OK, but I LOVE Under Defeat.
