Unhappily, it is all in French so most of you won't be able to fully enjoy this mook but I just wanted to keep you informed of this project we -Necstasy forum members- initiated some 4 years ago.

Yeah, I'll definitely be getting one of these suckers. Mon dieu!! lol This will be great practice for my French. I've let it slip a bit, but this will get me back on track. :D
Can't wait to hold this!!
Dang, that looks nice. I hope it gets translated eventually. [-o<

Seriously though, that looks great.

At first, we intended to it but the person in charge of the translation just quitted the project. Maybe someday...

Great news! I used to read some French videogame magazines when I was a kid (Consoles+ & Joypad if I remember well?).
Donc je pourrai améliorer mon Français de nouveau :)

I would love to buy one if it was in English (or if I knew French). How about a PC Engine Quran in Arabic?

I ordered a copy!
I can't wait until it arrives :)
Shipping (to New Jersey, USA) was quite reasonable, too.
Cool! I hope you'll like it!
By the way, I just noticed the link to your website dedicated to Nectaris. I really like this game so thank you for this ;)
Woohoo!! Just ordered it!!

My copy arrived in the mail today!! Je suis très heureux!
Seriously though, it looks fantastic and I'm actually able to understand a lot more than I thought. As my french gets better (and this will be a big help in that department) I'll definitely take on the task of translating.
The pages are super glossy with really nice colours and loads and loads of info on all the NEC consoles. Toilet reading pwn.
wow, that book looks amazing!!! I am thinking about buying one but my french is tres suckie!!!! :-k
ok..gonna order it 2nite :)
one question, how will the internation shipping be charged? since they only add €3 to the price.
l'ouly bible d'engine :D
I forgot to mention that it's Volume I - only Hucards. Doesn't matter though. Just makes me look forward to the next one.
Very late but I just ordered it as well :D
il y a un panzer.

Honestly, even if you can't read French the pictures are fun to look at. lol Seriously though, just by reading this book my French is getting better.
.
Thanks for the pic!
Actually yes, back in the good old days, PC Engine games were sold in many French supermarket chains. Sodipeng, the company that imported PCE to France did a very good job.
yes, even it wasn't official distrubution like in the states, they did a better job on that

If the TurboDuo was the first cd system, then what the heck was the TG-CD?

That book looks fantastic, and I wish it could be translated into English. Of course the PC Engine Software Bible website by Paul is wonderful, but nothing beats flicking through the content of an actual magazine.
If it comes out in English, I will buy one. Seems strange they print it in French when most of the world speaks English / American.

Uh...Not really strange if it was intended for the French market.
that's because the makers of it are french peeps. i would like to translate it in japanese and distribute it over here :)

Aww, that's nice.
I would SO buy an English version! This looks fantastic! =P~
It´s a good opportunity to learn french ;-)
for peeps like me who had french lessons 20 years ago, its a good opportunity i guess. but for peeps who never had any french contact, i don't believe that they will catch the langauge that easy.
is it planed to be released in other languages as well? english, japanese, etc.?

That is the 64000 Franc question!
Tatsujin :

Yes I know, I am just make a joke, I know french is very difficult to learn.
"is it planed to be released in other languages as well? english, japanese, etc.?"
Yes it´s planed, first in english.[/quote]

Awesome. =D> Any kind of rough idea of when it might be completed (even just a guess)?
If you can get the translation done in the next couple of weeks that would be good
I really thing it'd be more a question of months than weeks. Pix'n Love is a very productive company, and a translation of a work already done is maybe not in their priorities.

Yeah I was joking when I said that :) Even though it will probably take many months, the fact it's actually being considered is a good thing.
I received Vol.1 today and must say that it's amazing, even when I actually just understand a few words.
Luckily my wive speaks French, so she can translate some parts for me. I'm looking forward to Vol.2, hopefully getting released within the next 12 months. I just can encourage everyone to buy this book, even when you don't understand a word - just watching the pictures is great, too.
Good job!
I'm wondering how much would it cost the ship the book to Canada?

I think it was around $10-$15 bucks for me.
I know that the Speak English or Die extremists are going to hate me but here is a video review of Aldynes I shot last week :

Same here :)
We are eagerly anticipating your hardware review of the TurboBooster + TG-16 combo.
The thing is I own neither the Turbografx 16, nor the Turbo Booster. The only american NEC crap version I have is the PAL Turbografx.
Anyway, I don't know if Wahwah, the director of the video, is wishing to invite me once more ;) As I had good feedbacks on this video, maybe...
