I recently purchased the LG Voyager cell phone and not wanting to pay $2.99 for each desired ringtone, I went searching for some free ones. I came across a site called Mobiles24.com which not only has free ringtones but allows you to create your own! I'm planning to make some Turbografx/PC engine music into ringtones and upload them there for everyone to be be able to enjoy and welcome others to do the same if they have some cool stuff to share.
Castlevania: Dracula X, Parasol Stars, Cadash, and Lords of Thunder will be my first uploads.

awesome Hoobs! I have a LG Dare and absolutely love it (and a Blackberry Storm). Some Turbo ringtones would be saweet! I used to have a program called Goldwave which allowed me to convert MP3's to ringtones. Of course these days i just buy ringtones, but u certainly can't buy turbo tunes!
I just make my own ringtones, mp3 them, & email them to my phone. I have the Treasure Box music from Ys for when I get a text message, & I have various games for various people. My generic ringtone, is of the music from Arkanoid & some gameplay, then the game over music right before the phone stops ringing.

oooo!! The Arkanoid ringtone would be awesome! I used to have Galaga on my phone, but I was stupid and payed the $2.99 download fee, or whatever it was.
Making Turbo Ringtones will certify your status, as both Radical and to the Extreme.

Apparently, all public uploads have to go onto a "validation queue" before they get approved. Only one ringtone so far has gotten validated ('Parasol Stars Stage 1' by TurboGrafx16) and it is a very slow process. If you do a private upload, however; you can retrieve the ringtone immediately. Which I have already done for several ringtones that I now have on my phone :dance:. I will be posting more public ringtones on that site as time permits.
if you make a .rar file, do they really validate all that? Another idea is rename the files to like a .dat, rar it and then when someone downloads they just change the .dat back to whatever format it was originally.
Several of my ringtones just got validated all at once!

Parasol Stars Stage 1
Lords of Thunder- Bosque, Clelom & Boss
Dungeon Explorer II- Running in the Darkness
Dragon Slayer: Legend of Heros- Field
I could not find my Castlevania: Dracula X mp3's but I will add those when I find them. I have some work to do to get the Cadash sound effect from opening a treasure chest but I have always wanted that for a ringtone.
Up next will be Bonk, Legendary Axe, and Dynastic Hero ringtones.
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, I'd gladly welcome them.
