Does anyone know the real names of any of the actors from sherlock holmes? Or if anĂ½ of them have gone on to other acting gigs? Any of them end up in porn?lol!
There's actually an IMDB entry for the game http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0495755/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0495755/) but sadly it doesn't list the actors.
This is funny though as I've been researching the movie Young Sherlock Holmes all morning- trying to see why there isn't a competent DVD of it out with special fetaures- being that it was the first movie to feature a moving cgi character (the stained glass knight).
Can't seem to get the site on my phone rite now. I'll look when I get home.
Never saw that young sherlock but def will check it out too.
The review there states: Peter Farley's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes is extremely watchable and Warren Green's portrayal of Dr. Watson is amusing and rather naive.
Paul is correct, as the DVD release also credits those two actors.

I'm pretty sure I read about a new release for it a couple years ago. Of course it could've still been a bare bones transfer.
I think the game itself lists the actor's names somewhere.

I thought so......I am just too lazy to find out for sure lol
yeah just play through the game and watch the end credits..
I'll wait for you post of the list of actors.
lol
I have the 1999 Interactive DVD version of Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective (don't ask). The packaging/booklet have absolutely no credits, but I'll pop in the disc and see if anything is listed.

Youtube (https://youtu.be/6I2OQ4QcG0Y) to the rescue at 0:13.
Will that DVD play in my Turbographics?
They only list Watson and Sherlock, but there are many other actors involved... surely they are credited...

Yes, and pressing the "SELECT" button will switch to different audio channels to get the French, German and Canadian language dubs.
I can't believe that even Youtube is better than TurboGrafx CD video. The Turbo version ran in X-Tr3m3 high-res mode as well, so it is practically HDTV. What gives?

TurboGrafx-CD is synonymous with video, as far as I am concerned.
YouTube is not.

* Apparently, "ICOM Simulations was formed as TMQ Software in the early 1980s by Tod Zipnick."
I (we) still have to look up some of the other folks (like Suzanne Goldberg and Gary Grady). imdb.com lists some of the people listed above.
Perhaps you discover the actors' names when you beat the game. Jackpot!
UPDATE: You learn something new everyday :)
Lo and behold,
Consulting Detective began life as a friggin' board game (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2511):

Designed by Goldberg and Grady, of course. Wow. Who knew?
