Title: Strategy games for the PCE

Nectaris can't be the only one. What other strategy games are there for the PCE, and which ones are good?

There are a few games that are somewhat similar to Nectaris, like:
-X-serd
-Gaiflame

KOEI has a few strategy games on PCE. In English, they are known as:
-Romance of the Three Kingdoms III
-Genghis Khan II
-Nobunaga's Ambition
-Nobunaga's Ambition: Lord of Darkness

There are some from other companies as well in the 'historical simulation' genre:
-1552 Tenka Tairan
-San Goku Shi: Eiketsu Tenka ni Nozumu
-Yokoyama Mitsuteru Shin San Goku Shi: : Tenka wa Ware ni
-Sengoku Kantou San Goku Shi
-Zan: Youen no Jidai
-Taiheiki
-NHK Taiga Drama: Taiheiki
-Sekigahara

From my playtests it seems like most of the historical simulation games use a lot of kanji for their menus. I've spent a lot of time on Lord of Darkness and Romance of the Three Kingdoms III for SNES, and both are excellent games.

Well there's a bunch of them for sure. Here's a few more to try -

Macross Eternal Love Song
Kisou Louga both parts 1 and 2
Lady Phantom
Vasteel 1 and 2
Langrisser
Daisenryaku games
Gulclight TDF 2 (but i personally don't care for it)

Turn off the manual control in Vasteel and let the comp play out the battles and you have a good strategy game. Wish there was a way to not have to watch the battles, though. Sometimes they drag on a bit.
