Title: Quick Compatibility question
Post by: coolmod on 05/07/2010, 08:39 PM
I'm totally new with PCE stuff....just wondering if the original PCE (The white one) is compatible with the Super CDROM2 drive (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/SUPER_CD-ROM2)? Appreciate it!

As Zeta answered, yes.

NOTE: The original PCE was RF only... so getting the SuperCD provides stereo and composite video.

Otherwise, with the original bare PCE you'd probably want to purchase an AV Booster (http://www6.airnet.ne.jp/wataru/pce/op_av.htm) or Backup Booster of some sort.
