Just curious. Also, are most of the games FMV (a la Sega CD?)? I know about the one vertical shooting game on this system, but what are some good action/adventure titles? Thanks
In an article I read before the PC-FX's release, it said "In a bold move, NEC has announced that the PC-FX will not be backwards compatible with their TurboGrafx line." so I imagine that the answer to that is probably "no".
It can't play Turbo Grafx 16 CD/PC Engine CD games what so ever and it can't play PC-88 games as far as I know, but that one development device for it allows you to hook up to your PC-98 computer.
Well that's too bad! :( Still, it looks like there are some good titles for the PC-FX.
if i'm not mistaken they did released the card version that can be inserted into NEC PC-98 series...
for PC-88 or PCE no it won't...
No backwards compatibility for PCE with PC-FX came as a huge middle finger to the PCE crowd. Why bother buying two separate systems when you can have one and a lot of games?
