Take the power base to Radio shack and they should be able to find you one for $30-$40 range. those 'official' Turbo CD AC adapters can cost you an arm and a leg easy.

actually they cost an arm and a leg with the hip still attached these days. Ebay gougers and all....

Radio Shack universal 12V 1.5A with tip.... J I think?
