Sold out every place were i live and out of stock on ever online store. Looking to pay the $30. What i was told nintendo ont be restocking the game so help me out please.
If you never find it rest assured that it isn't that great. Its basically the most expensive Virtual Console game ever with a sound track of stuff you'll never actually listen to and a not-that-great book. The packaging is wonderful, true, but that's about it.
I would actually have been a bit kinder to it if they had at least sold us the All Stars w/ Super Mario World on it, but really what I wanted were original versions of the games as an option. I really don't care for the SNES remakes that much.
the original versions of the games should have been included maybe as unlockables. But that would be too generous of Nintendo.
Honestly considering all the money they've made off those games, and the huge sales they can guarantee, they should have sold us something as awesome as the Sega Ages Wonderboy collection (PS2). Hell, the effort they put into making the SNES version in the first place back in the day was a lot more impressive than just sticking a VC game on a disk.

It's boggling that they didn't include the SMAS+SMW collection. Hell, you know they just dumped the SMAS cart, why not include SMW at the probably 0$ extra cost it would've taken them?

Have you seen the inflated ebay prices becouse it now rare as the first shipment was the only shipment of this game. Sold for $30 now its going for 65+

Metroid Prime Trilogy came out earlier this year and was discontinued shortly after. I wanted to pick it up but it's hard to find for under $100 right now. Screw that, the GC versions of the first two and Wii version of three will do just fine.
Hell, I should tape all three together and sell 'em as a trilogy.
You can get metroid prim triliogy on ebay for $70 is on average.
I got Metroid Prime GC, and Metroid Prime Corruption for sale. Go get MP2 and you got yourself a trilogy!

lol so true but some people might care to have metroid 1 and 2 with wii motion controles so trilogy is the only way to that in the usa.
The Mario game will come down in price, it is high now because it just sold out. I bet $40 by the end of the month.
still debating if I should even open it up. i could just load SM All-Stars rom on the Homebrew channel.
I was disappointed too about Mario World not being included. Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is also still not available on Virtual Console... :-k
I saw hundreds of these in stores before Christmas. Went out last night and looked a few places, and they are all sold out. I tried for you though.
Yeah, there was a pile of the suckers at Target when I bought mine. I'd assume they are all gone now.
I'll keep an eye out.

Gamestops all sold out (I called around) I haven't checked with the "Big box" retailers yet. I do alot of traveling so I will keep checking around.

I too was disappointed for a 25th anniversary game zero effort went into everything except the packaging. Even if all they done was update the front end id have been slightly impressed. I think ive finally had enough of Nintendo now.
I got my game because I preordered, but I hope Nintendo does a rerelease. I never got my Metroid Prime Trilogy, and don't want anyone to be sad like me :(
They better re-release it soon! My friend is keeping an eye out for it, and he's going to snag me a copy as soon as it is stocked. If I get lucky I might be able to snag any of yous guys that wants one too.
Just on a side note on Metroid Prime Trilogy shop around, I found it used but complete for 49.99 + tax around 3 or so months ago.

Oddly enough the European release did not sell out yet. Apparently those fancy pants Euro-Types are too good for Mario?

My local BB sells used games. So yes, they certainly could've had two USED copies.
My point wasn't that it was a low print run. My point was that it was on shelves for a relatively short time (five months) and then discontinued. If you wanted to buy it new/sealed right now you couldn't do it for $50. As opposed to, say, Twilight Princess which has been out for 4 years now and can still be picked up anywhere that sells Wii games.

That is not the sales chart of a rare game.
The reason you can't find one is that everyone went out and bought it thinking it would make them rich. It won't, which is why there is a fuckload of the things on eBay right now. Markets where both the buyers and the sellers are all just speculators trying to sell the same shit to other speculators who already have it always collapse. This game will never be rare, and its eBay value will only drop from here on out. Copies are already selling in the high 50s, which is a lot better than a month ago.
