OK, prices on eBay for XRGB units are getting crazy. $300+ for a used XRGB-2?
I keep hearing from people in HK, Japan, etc about how they are easy to find used for much much less. I'm interested in buying TWO units. XRGB2 or XRGB2+. I don't really want the 3. I might be interested in a 1 but I don't know the feature list. Does it still do the fake scanlines well? My used XRGB2+ looked fantastic during the 10 minutes it was working, so I'm interested in that sort of thing.
Sorry, can't confirm that, since I'm also looking for some since quite some time, and when ever I come (physically) across one (which is like approx. once a year at max.) it is like 30'000yens plus. even used.
They are definitely not easy to pick up as 2nd handed. As for new ones you can buy them from the official site at any time.
PS: I do not use any yahoo auctions etc., hence it could be that they are much easier and cheaper to find at such places.
even YJA has high prices on the XRGB3
zeta I have a loose XRGB2 if you are interested. I have been using a universal AC with it because I cannot find the original anywhere!
Everything you need to know about the XRGB-1:

I have all of them now. A good place to look is Amazon.jp.
They tend to sell fast, but you can get them there cheap from
large electronics stores that are selling off old inventory at times.
I even managed to snag a DISPL TV from Amazon.jp for almost nothing,
and they are TEH RARE.

Yeah, the 3 is fucking insane, but I don't want a 3.
