Bonknuts just posted a playthrough of his three year old GoT hack. It's pretty neat. I don't remember seeing it before, but I really like some of the graphical changes. The music is probably the most drastic change, but I quite like it.
Anyway, here is Bonknuts playing his GoT hack on devil mode:

The music is pretty good, not that the original wasn't either though. Do you know if these are original composed tracks? That title screen bgm reminds me a lot of the neo geo. As for the graphics, I like the redone boss graphics but i think i prefer the weapons from the original. First time I've seen this hack, I've been out of the PCE scene for a little while. But the name Bonknuts def sounds familiar... :-k
It's cool he's able to do that but from what I heard, I still prefer the original tracks.
If they're original compositions, Bonknuts didn't compose them.
I remember seeing a small patch for GOT not too long ago, but I think this is different. Does anyone know if this mod patch is available to try on our own GOT game image? I wouldnt mind trying it out on my Duo.
I think I'm going to patch Golden Axe with the original arcade soundtrack...or perhaps Red Alert with a load of pop music from the 80s.

Since no one seems to have caught on, this hack is all graphical elements and music from the Thunder Force series. Most of the music, if not all, seems to be arranged versions of tracks from Thunder Force III/Thunder Spirits (https://youtu.be/yiFV_-ENxjc) as are the weapons.

NOW you've sparked my interest! (seriously!)
Ah, I never really listened to any Thunderforce stuff that wasn't FM.
and, Red Alert with Highway to the Danger Zone, would be awesome.

Oh yeah! We'll have to start making a list of appropriate songs now.
Yes.
Eye of the Tiger, You're the Best Around, Highway to The Danger Zone, Take on Me, Hungry like the Wolf.
oh man.

Nooo nonononono. Red Alert is a game that screams for cock rock. NOT synth-pop.
Imagine take on me in the background during the GUY KAZAMAAAAAA cutscene dialog.
I lol from thinking about it.

I have to agree with that. the original GoT redbook audio is probably the best ever written redbook audio in history of videogames.
I think Shot Through The Heart by Bon Jovi would be a good match

Kickstart my Heart.
oh man. lol
If one were to create an alternate soundtrack for Red Alert, instead of the mainstream hits, it would be more fun (IMHO) to find less popular 80's tracks (personally, I'm partial to "The Lunatics (Have Taken Over the Asylum)" by Funboy Three).

Or, even better, we could have Guy Kazama's exploits accompanied by Martin Dean, Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
:)
Oh man... you guys are nuts  All those suggestions for Last Alert are horrible :P

I actually like the original music in Red Alert/Last Alert. Especially the ending credit music song! One of my all-time Red Book faves. :)
where do u get the music for this hack?
