Out of any soldier game, what is your favorite weapon to use?

The bubbles are my favorite.  It's out of place, hilarious, and effective.

The Green lightning from SSS.  I hate that it goes to shit when you take a hit though.

The blue laser in Blade is nice too.

1st cousin BL, I like field thunder.

I try to mix it up tho and usually use all weapons for a period of time during a run-through

I get mad when I accidentally lose my bubble and grab the stupid fire crap.   The fire crap annoys me.

In BL I usually go for the standard gun with homing missiles.

I hv to use the shield, cuz I suck

I want to see someone go through a soldier game without using any powerups.

That'd be brutal.

Call me crazy, but sometimes I think the plain old pea shooter doesn't get enough love in these games. In reality, it's not such a good weapon, but I like the feel of it; I think it has to do with the rapidness and sound effects, not to mention the precision it requires. Simplicity can be fun.

Yeah, I like the pea shooter next over the bubbles.  It reminds me of the ORIGINAL star soldier.

That's the other thing I like about it, it more closely resembles traditional shooters from the 80's.

Having cleared Super Star Soldier and Final Soldier, my favorite weapon thus far in the series by far is the flame weapon from Super Star Soldier, particularly, the single flame that sweeps back and forth automatically. The movement of the flame can be complemented by your movements as the pilot, making the weapon incredibly devasating. It's really the only weapon in the series so far that has a unique feel to it in my opinion.

I prefer the simple more-way shot.

Is it wrong that I think the best weapon in Super Star Soldier is the regular blaster with homing missles???

All of them (excluding the flame, I'm not a huge fan of that one) are pretty great. But for me to get to the end of that game (still haven't finished the last boss) I need the regular gun.

One time I accidentally'd the fire weapon and ended up throwing the controller and binge eating for 3 hours straight.

Try the Blue Lazer with the photon blaster {I think, turns it green and chases enemies down} on the brain stage it is freaking awesome.

Yea, that thing goes crazy everywhere! Lol but sometimes it sticks to one area of the screen, leaving u tO dodge anything coming ur way.
