Lol!   Well thanks!   Since I was laid-off recently, that would help immensely.    ;)

Hey, thanks a lot.  I appreciate it!  :)
Glad to plug the forum as well ... great place!
Chris

Oh, totally!   Lol!  :)
(though some people who LOVE the game I am about to review ... might not like me very much this week, ha ha)

Bizump!    :)

Thanks everyone!  I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Lol!    Well, thanks my friend (I mean, not the "wallet" thing of course.
Welcome to this forum.  Everyone here is awesome!  :)
#57
Boom!  Got them!  Thanks Nulltard!!
#58
Indeed!    I'd love to be included in raffle but also pick one up!  Thanks.  :)

Thanks my friend.  Glad it arrived safely!

Since I don't sell enough to justify the costs associated with "replication" (pressing) that is not really an option.  That leaves "duplication" as the only other choice.   And...well...that allows me to basically create everything myself from inking to duplication (at my office we use the highest quality "watershield" glossy Discs you can buy so I make sure to pick those up for every Turbo Views set) to packaging to shipping.

It is a ton of work so all I can hope is that they arrive in one piece and people enjoy them.   :)

Thanks Mathius!  As always.

Lol, I never said I was excited about it.  That's for sure.  Ha ha.  ;)

Love it!  Thanks so much.  She's gone to a good home!

I have to be honest...I think the last time I actually WON something was...a turkey at Thanksgiving in a K-Mart raffle!  Like, in 1990.  Lol!!
This is awesome.  I don't have any collectibles or goodies for the Turbo so this will be well loved.  Thanks so much!
#63
Oh...PS!  I'm not sure if I got to ever publicly thank Esteban!  But if you go to "turboviews.com" and click on the links connected to each individual DVD set, E-man created the look of them for me!

Thanks my friend!  :)
#64
Ah, how cool.  Please add me too.  I have an Express, next to me as a matter of fact.  Ha ha. Thanks. :)

Ha ha.  I love you too man.  Even if you're just as crazy as I am!

I like my adjective...for me it describes the feeling I get playing DS quite perfectly.
#66
Great thanks!
#67
THIS close to finishing this checklist.  Ha ha.  Thanks all!
#68
ha ha.  I've actually had those labels for a long time.   I always wanted to put them ON in a video sometime.  Just never got around to it.  Lol!  :)
#69
Thanks guys.   It's coming together nicely so far.  :)

Buy/Sell/Trade / Re: MSR "Factory Seconds"
01/01/2014, 05:23 PM
Hey The Old River...does that mean MSR is pretty much completely sold out all together?  That's fantastic!
#73
And Chris Bucci would be pretty exstatic if people wanted to throw games at him!  Lol.  ;)
#74
Thanks as always for the kind words guys.  I am glad you enjoy the vids as much as I do putting them together (when I get a chance to that is, ha ha).

I had hoped the extra exposure would maybe help the gang at Frozen sell a couple.  They deserve it, it's a great effort.  If you are strapped for some cash, I noticed that they have a handful of "seconds" for sale on their Ebay store (search Mysterious Song).  I think it's only $13.00...not sure the condition of them though.  :)
Thanks again,
Chris Bucci

Thanks for the interest in the third DVD set, truly!  I am actually recording the next "Memory" commentaries as we speak.  I'm hoping to do pre-orders after the first of the year and delivery in February.  :)

Got the next two videos in the editing bay as well.   :)
#76
Thanks guys!  Glad you're enjoying it still.  Hard to believe it's been 5 years so far.  Ha ha.  :)
#77
Almost had a Cotton....haha.   So, bump!  ;)  Thanks!
#78
Been a while, thought I'd bumpidy bump bump :)

Ha ha.  The nice part is, the video quality captured via the Handycam won't look any better than it does.  It converts it to digital, sharpening it up making it look even better than it would coming out onto the TV via S-Video (it also cut down on any analogue noise pumping into it, which is a great thing).  So...we're good to go.  :)
#80
Yup.....I have it connected to a good old fashioned standard-def TV with composite cables.  Then the signal is split and I capture footage using a Sony Handycam with pass-through (from 2000, ha ha).  :)
#81
Ha ha, Carparama.  Indeed!  And that is the great part about this whole "review" thing...you'll do things one way, I'll do things another way.  And in the end...we go...what the what huh?   ;)

Thanks EvilEvoIX.  I am not a professional.  But I try to be as detailed, honest and precise as I can so that way...even if you don't agree with me...you'll know where I'm coming from.  You know?  And hopefully, those who have never played any of the games before can form their own opinion about it based on what they see/hear.  Not sure if I pull it off all the time...but, what can ya' do?
#82
Thanks for watching and esteban...thanks for sharing your thoughts on the game.  One of the reasons I started Turbo Views a few years ago was to begin "discussions" about TurboGrafx possibly in the YouTube arena (granted...you guys don't need MY help due to this awesome forum, but with others who aren't a part of this necessarily).  So, it's great when we can all just talk about our different opinions and ideas on the same subject.  You know?

Thanks always everyone.  :)

Here is the latest Victory Run.  I am not sure why YouTube has "stretched" my video to the incorrect aspect ratio.  I am using the same settings, same file format, same EVERYTHING as always.  And.....that is bugging the hell out of me....you have NO idea.  But, I'm not re-uploading it again.  Ha ha.
Thanks everyone as always.

Thanks for updating things TRON my good man.  Unfortunately, I "screwed up" a couple things in the video and had to re-upload (namely the ending, which was the wrong one...ha ha).  Guess we can use the other as an "alternate ending" for the DVD.  Lol!  Will be up in a couple hours.  ;)
#85
Indeed my friend!  Ha ha.    :)
#86
Thanks for the kind words guys.  As always.

Life is going great now.  The problem is...I just have zero time since I've doubled my work hours to pay for...the reason life went to crap in the first place.  Lol!  (Can't win anyway you slice it sometimes, ha ha).
But....I'll always be back until the entire U.S. line-up is reviewed.  I'm very stubborn when I set a goal.  :)

Thanks for the support and all the great friendships over the years!!
#87
Thanks rrob78!  That's great to hear.

And Esteban...ha ha, I was wondering what happened.  I thought maybe you passed out (but got up enough strength to hit post, ha ha).  :)
#88
Hey, thanks man.  :)
#89
First of all...Mathius...you're going to wait until tonight!?  Sigh, some friend you are!  (ha ha, JK).

Second of all...thanks for the kind words guys.  SOB is a good game for the money.  But, be warned....like turboswimbz says...many people find it very clunky.  I myself caught on to its quirks a little faster than others for some reason or another (it didn't really seem that bad to me, it could be due to the inclusion of the turbo-switches, ha ha).  But, it's not everyone's cup of tea for sure.

Thanks for the support, as always!
Chris

Hey man, that's great my friend.  Excellent accomplishment!!   Thanks for the kind words.  :)
#91
Thanks for always finding this "old" thread and updating it for me.  Ha ha.  You guys are the best.  :)
#92
Just updated, thanks as always!   :)
#93
Ha ha!  Thanks my friend.  I appreciate that.

So, I'll hold you a set for 2032 my friend (by then we'll be using "credits" or something instead of money, right?).   Ha ha!
#94
Yes, 2032 sounds about right.

Same time as Demolition Man!  So...we'll all celebrate with dinner and dancing...at Taco Bell!

Hey, thanks for your great compliments.  I truly appreciate it.  I am planning a 3rd volume when we get to episode #75 (which...isn't too far away so perhaps early next year).

I like your "jewel case" idea.  I'll have to look into that for the future.  One thing is...there will be 6 total DVD volumes (almost like, a TurboGrafx video encyclopedia).  And, a friend of mine who works for a DVD manufacturing company is actually designing a "case" to hold all 6 volumes perfectly for me.  On the artwork side it will look like the original TurboGrafx box.  It's really cool.  I'm lucky to have awesome friends.

So...in twenty years when I finished the series (ha ha)...I'm hoping he'll still be alive (ha ha) to help me make the case.  Lol!

Thanks!  Your support is always appreciated and awesome.

I hear you on that!!

I picked my copy up in the year 2000 when I was trying to complete my U.S. TG16 collection (needed about twenty more).  Paid $85.00 complete without box.  I remember back then saying, "Wow, well...if I want to get everything I'll have to shell out a bit more here".   Little did I know.

I enjoy the game.  I did the video review of it quite early just so I had proof in case someone stole it from me.  'cause I wouldn't be buying another today.  Ha ha!
:)

Thanks guys.  I try to be as detailed as I can (even with games I am not a big fan of).  A lot of people enjoy TVSBB though so....your mileage may vary.

Also...another episode will be uploading tonight.   :)

It turns out I have an extra Super Star Soldier manual / jewel case AND an extra copy of the final issue of Turbo Play for trade (cover is a bit loose).   Also have an extra Turbo Zone Direct ad as well.  Ha, I know it is not much but just wanted to toss that out there.  Thanks!

Love the articles.   ;)
