@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

I don't think this specific thing has been done before - I'm interested in looking at games that began their lives on the PCE and then got ports to other consoles. Most specifically I'm interested in games that were essentially "remixed" for another platform, ala rondo of blood vs dracula x, or valis iv vs super valis iv. But I'd like to talk about all of them I guess, so I can sift through? And this would be games that didn't start on other systems or arcades first, so the SNK games don't count, etc.

I'll start:
PCE: Rondo of Blood
SNES: Dracula X

PCE: Valis IV
SNES: Super Valis IV

PCE: Valis III
GEN: Valis III

PCE: Exile
GEN: Exile
(I'm counting this since it's a total remake/retelling of XZR II and doesn't have a pre-console equivalent)

PCE: Devil's Crush/Crash
GEN: Devil's Crush/Crash

PCE: Dungeon Explorer II
SNES: Crystal Beans

PCE: Lords of Thunder
SCD: Lords of Thunder

PCE: Startling Odyssey
PSX: Startling Odyssey I: Blue Evolution

(adding everyone else's)

PCE: Bonk's Adventure
NES: Bonk's adventure

PCE: Nectaris
GB: GB Nectaris
PSX: GB Nectaris

PCE: Bomberman '94
GEN: Mega Bomberman

PCE: Tokimeki Memorial
PS1/SAT/SFC: Tokimeki Memorial

PCE: Cosmic Fantasy: Bōken Shōnen Yū (1990)
Cosmic Fantasy 2 (1991)
Sega CD: Cosmic Fantasy Stories (1992, Sega CD)

any others you can think of?
It'd be fun to do this for all consoles forever, but that seems impossible :P

Hey folks. I've got a friend who's interested in:
1) ripping music from PCE roms
2) isolating specific channels

Basically he wants to sample specific parts of specific music tracks for remixes and suchlike.
What are the tools people use for this stuff these days?

Sorry for the basic question!
#3
Hey folks - this is a long shot, but I've had the disc and case for Camp California since like... 1994. but I never had the manual, and never bothered to get it! Now I feel dumb.
Anyone got a spare one floating around that I could buy for a reasonable price!? Let me know!!

This one's almost certainly coincidence, but, the intro refrain for Ys:
has a lot in common with this dan siegel song
well... there you go

Starting bid isn't even that bad. Mostly I just want to share this for the pics of the units! they're super cool!

Hadn't seen anyone talking about this yet, maybe I missed it?
It's got every official PCE game ordered by format and date, some pages for peripherals, etc. Nothing you haven't seen before, but it's cute and nice to have!! It's also real cheap from amazon japan!! get it!

Buy/Sell/Trade / some free nonsense
02/19/2018, 02:43 PM
So through finding a bunch of games on a curb, and also various mishaps over the years, I've wound up with a few loose games, common games, and empty cases that I don't need and game stores don't want.

I'd ideally find someone who would take all of this - otherwise back to the curb it goes! I'd just ask for shipping, unless they accept it media mail, in which case I probably won't even need that.

Here's what I've got:

Complete:
Uncharted 2
little big planet

case only:
Fable

Case and manual only:
God of War (ps2)
Killzone 3
ico/sotc collection (ps3)

Case and disc only:
Sonic genesis collection (PS3)

disc only:
metal gear solid 2
dragon quest viii
playstation move demo disc

if someone wants all this lemme know! otherwise yeah, the curb giveth, and the curb taketh away!

Buy/Sell/Trade / WTTF Lunar Eternal Blue
01/22/2018, 06:55 PM
So my buddy gifted me a bunch of sega CD games, which is great! But he gave me Lunar Eternal Blue without the game - box and manual only.

It's a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone has a spare loose Eternal Blue Sega CD disc. I'd trade for a loose Lunar: The Silver Star disc?? That one had multiple covers, so maybe I could trade someone for one they don't have! or something.

worth a shot!!

Buy/Sell/Trade / WTB vanilla white PCE
12/27/2017, 08:21 PM
My buddy who does game preservation is looking for one, and I figured it'd be better to ask here first before going to ebay. Anybody got something handy? I'll direct you to him once I know what's up. (he's a reliable fella)

We released our puzzle/tower defense mashup Gunhouse for PSV. It's coming to PS4 in a couple weeks with higher res graphicisms and whatnot. It'll be cross-buy!

Let me know if you want a key, I've got plenty. Just leave a god-darned 5 star review!!! PM  me if you want one.

So I'm looking to get a copy of Anearth Fantasy Stories Taikenban, but I can't find any pictures of what the complete package (book+CD) is supposed to look like. Anybody got one they're pretty sure is complete that they could take a picture of? It'd help in tracking this thing down!!

thanks much!! Also if anyone's selling one, lemme know :P
#12
This is a pretty silly question I guess, but I've always been a bit uncertain about what is different when you've got an SCD/ACD compatible game. My assumption would be you've just got more ram to load things into, so loading speed is faster. But I've heard across the years people saying the game will actually access more frames from disc when there's an arcade card in.

I've searched for comparison videos, and can't find any. I searched the forums here, and there was a 3x3 eyes comparison which appears now to be offline.

Anyway - any actual definitive guide to this anywhere, or are others as in the dark as I am?
Thanks :3

According to the creator of A-Rank Thunder for Mega CD, developed by Riot, the game was originally planned as a free-scrolling action RPG for hucards!

A-RankFront.jpg
I would've played that
#14
Someone asked this question, and I had a hard time making a definitive list. How many (simultaneous) multiplayer beat-em-ups were there on the PC Engine/TG-16?

Here's what we've come up with:
Anesan
Galaxy Keiji Gayvan
Double Dragon II
Cadash (sort of counts)
Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari
Altered Beast (HuCard version)

Are we missing anything??
#15
Hey all. I've been putting it off for years, and it doesn't look like it's gonna get any dang cheaper. I used to have a friend's copy on long-term loan, but I gave it back to him and he sold it and now I have nothing :P

I was just in Japan and found it for 14,500 yen, which isn't bad, but is more than I want to spend, so I'm hoping to trade somebody for it, maybe with some cash on top. I'll get my trade list together here, but in the meantime I want to see if there's anyone who wants to part with the game at all!

Lemme knowww
#16
but it wasn't for sale
and I couldn't afford it even if it were
now I'm sad
#17
This is incredibly stupid, but did you ever notice how similar the main refrain in this song from Ys is to the start of the chorus in Green Day's "When September Ends" song  ??
Did green day play Ys!? who cares :3

PC/Console/Mobile Ports / Sine Mora EX
08/31/2017, 02:17 PM
Another game I worked on, Sine Mora EX, has just come out on PS4, Vita, and Steam, and is coming soon for Switch. I did English naturalization for the original game, then did some design tuning for the EX version. The script isn't my very favorite, and the game still has some problems, but it was a cool collaboration between hungarian dev Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture in Japan - you really notice that toward the later levels.

Anyway!! To celebrate it's release, I'm gonna raffle off a steam key if anyone's interested! Wahoooo

Not sure how many of you live in the bay area (CA), but I'm doing a big sale of games, records, laserdiscs, comics, etc etc - come on by if you're around? Sale is going on Sunday. Don't worry if you can't make it, nothing PCE that I'm selling is super rare or interesting, so nobody is missing out!

PC-FX Discussion / Blue Breaker series
08/07/2017, 07:02 PM
I didn't quite realize how far this series had gone. Not far past 1998, but still, for a PC-fx origin game, it's quite something.

As far as I can tell, there was:

Blue Breaker: Ken Yorimo Hohoemi o (PC-fx): Sep 27, 1996

Blue Breaker: Ken Yorimo Hohoemi o (saturn): Nov 27, 1997

Blue Breaker: Egao no Yakusoku (PS): Dec 25, 1997

Blue Breaker Burst: Bishou o Anata to (PS): Jul 23, 1998

Blue Breaker Burst: Egao no Asuni (PS): Sep 10, 1998

As far as I understand:
The first two games (PC-fx, Saturn) are largely the same game.
Egao no Yakusoku is *more or less* the same game, with several added scenarios.

The two "Bursts" are fighting games, and seem to be super similar - they even have the same HUD. but the second game appears to have 2X as many characters.

it's clear the franchise didn't exactly set the world on fire, but not bad for a game of PC-fx origin - it probably has the most ports and sequels of any PC-fx game!

Ever seen that on craigslist posts about cars for real hunks of junk? I've got one of those beauties for you all right now. I have here a copy of Pac-Land, everyone's favorite (!?) pac-man game for the turbo grafx. The game comes "complete" with case, game, and manual (no cardboard).
So, why is this a mechanic's special? A few reasons!
1) the cart is maybe completely useless. As you can see in the photo, it's got corrosion all over it. I tried to fix it, and I don't think it's fixable. But maybe you're cooler than me and can do it!
2) the case label is missing. you could put one of those sparky labels on it if you were nuts! but what else are you gonna put your pac-land label on, really.
3) the hucard-holding tab thing broke off. whoops
4) the manual is a bit scuffed. but hey, it opens up, unlike some other manuals I've got!!

So yeah, WHO WILL BE FIRST IN LINE to take this AMAZING GEM!?
Continental US only, but not limiting it to high posters cause I think most high level posters aren't gonna want it!

Go nuts, friends!

Buy/Sell/Trade / Browning raffle!
07/14/2017, 06:42 PM
I've been on the receiving end of enough raffles that I'd better give something back!

I've got a disc-only Browning on offer here. For those who have never played it, it's an overly difficult mech shooter with some kind of fun cutscenes! It's not bad, it's not great! Classic Nihon Telenet. Disc is in decent shape, a few light scuffs, but nothing that affects play.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1PplU0fxks

I'll open this to anyone in the continental US. I'll end the auction... monday? tuesday? we'll see!
I'm gonna do a *completely useless* turbo auction as well, so watch out for that one!

A guy I met through a laserdisc forum (ha ha) moved to japan, so I bought his laserdisc player and LDs... somehow in the transaction (we met in a parking lot like true contraband runners), he got to mentioning he needed to get rid of some games, too. I said "oh hey, I'd be interested in that!" expecting him to just have a few things. He mailed me a few weeks later with a few pics saying there was also a bit more, but I could have whatever he found for $100.

When we met back in that same parking lot, I was more than a little surprised at the amount of stuff I got. I didn't really know what all I had til I got it home (he just kept handing me moving boxes). So here it all is:

a few us Saturn games and manuals (robo pit accidentally not depicted), boxed virtua stick, and a jp-switched us saturn
IMG

model 2 genesis with Sega cd and a variety of controllers.
IMG

several genesis games (also got sol feace for scd, but that's in another photo)
IMG

a super famicom and some jp and us games. lady stalker, twinbee, panic bomber etc (ha ha)
IMG

some random n64 and nes games and controllers
IMG

52 US dreamcast games (accidentally put 18 wheeler in here even though it's JP), including boxed US maracas
IMG
IMG

46 JP dreamcast games, a few of which are limited edition. dude liked his visual novels, as you can see!
IMG
IMG

8 dreamcast magazines and supplemental guides
IMG

11 jp Saturn games, some limited, and twinsticks, Sakura Taisen guide
IMG

some random jp-only Xbox games, Yuna for pc-fx and pce, etc
IMG

There was some other random stuff too, but that's the main lot of it! pretty good for $100 if I do say so myself! I'm probably gonna trade a lot of it off to a local game shop, because I don't think that most of the stuff I'm not keeping is gonna be of interest to anyone. I already found a home for all the low-price dreamcast games, oddly! a friend is going for a complete collection, so we're gonna do some sort of trade.

Anyway! This is the sort of thing I often have dreams about, but this time it was reality :P

Hey all - I haven't seen this exact question asked before, though I did a search!

Basically my duo was not registering "down" on the d-pad reliably for a while, and now is creating a lot of false "run" presses when I'm nowhere near that button. I'm wondering if this is something others have heard of, and whether I should be sending this thing out to get fixed up. I need to get it recapped anyway (just because), so I don't know if this could be related - basically any info will be useful!

Also I'm quite sure it's not the controllers themselves, because I've tried a bunch, and they all result in the same issue.

thanks!!!
#25
I might just be missing something, but I haven't seen a lot of rips of the PCM tracks from CD games. I find they're often quite excellent because they're using all sound channels just for music usually. It tends to be during cutscenes, where voice is running from the disc, or similar.

Does someone like sunteam paul have a collection of these somewhere? I remember the devil hunter yohko PCM to being particularly good! Anyway, mostly just throwing this out there, since I wouldn't want these things to get lost in the archiving process!

PC/Console/Mobile Ports / Oh, Deer! Beta
02/03/2017, 06:30 PM
Just in case y'all are interested in looking - we released the Beta of our driving game Oh, Deer! on Humble Monthly today. It's impossible to port to the PCE, but it'd be cool if we could!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO3gB-4Ovi8

How do I make videos show up properly on this board, anyway?
#27
Hey folks! I keep feeling like I should do a raffle, but I don't have anything fantastic for that, so here's a giveaway instead! We put one of our games out on iOS/Android a bit ago, called Gunhouse. Here's our dumb trailer: https://youtu.be/MVM1GpjfYEw

It's a puzzle game with a unique mechanic, and a tower defense element. First 10 people to PM me with their preference of iOS or Android will get a code. That's it!

Off-Topic / external drive recommendations
09/12/2016, 07:12 PM
I've been trying to burn some of these english patches and whatnot, and have found I'm making a lot of coasters. the external drive I've got here starts at 10x, I can't get any slower.

I'm thinking I should get a new external cd/dvd writer, but have no idea what direction to go. what have you all found useful for this sort of thing?
#29
I assume most folks knew this, but the vocal tracks in the Final Zone II soundtrack were re-recorded for the US - not just new lyrics, but new instrumentation and the like. I will eventually get to the bottom of who recorded them, and other stuff related to that, but for now, compare and contrast!
#30
A former Tengen employee put up a bunch of unreleased PC Engine ports, when they were evaluating the system. He has put up Magical Puzzle Popils, Marble Madness, Peter Pack-Rat, and Off the Wall.

Here are his credentials: http://www.mobygames.com/developer/jun-amanai/credits/developerId,195797/

Here are the games:
Especially unfortunate that marble madness didn't get released!

I couldn't find such a list, so I'd like to start a thread (if there is a list, please direct me to it!).

Specifically, I'm interested in SCD/ACD games that give you something other than an error message when you insert the disc. Now that I've gone through my 134 SCD/ACD games to test them out, I wish I'd logged what *all* of them do, not just the unusual ones, but superpcenginegrafx has a partial list for a few of them.

So, here's what I found, please feel free to add.

Minigames:
Dracula X - cute/weird action minigame

Dragon Slayer (PCE) - music player and monster compendium

Exile II (PCE) - if you press the I button, Rumi's "ne <3" speech bubble blinks (hey, it's interaction)

Solid Force – characters are looking at the screen of an RPG - you get the option to "quit" or "continue" - if you choose continue, a giant foot in high heels and stockings kicks you.

Seisenshi Denshou: Jantaku no Kishi - has a full majhong match to play.

*UNTESTED* Tenshi no Uta II: Datenshi no Uta - appears to have a one-off battle? Could just be a static screen. Can someone confirm?

Ryuuko no Ken (art of fighting) - casino/slot match where you're trying to slice daikon.

and then there's *basically every backup warning message* which has interaction as well.

No error message:
Alnam no kiba - just hangs on "just a moment" forever

Baby Jo - black screen, then resets to "push run button"

Psychic Visual Detective Series 3 Aya - shows the DataWest logo, then tries to run the game - total mess of visual artifacts, but music plays fine, still accepts inputs. Super weird!

Psychic Visual Detective Series 1 Orgel – about the same as above, except doesn't play music, no color in artifacts.

Blackhole Assault - intro works great, but once you get into the game, it's pixel salad. accepts all inputs and seems to run the actual game, though I have trouble getting past the menus!

God Panic - black screen for a while, then visual error plus clicking.

Magicoal – shows the NEC logo, then black screen

Rayxanber III – you can totally play the whole dang game, it's just extremely visually corrupted.

Slime World – sometimes visual errors, sometimes nothing.

Travel Able – Riot logo screen then reset. Very odd to not have a screen in such a late game!

Yuyu Hakusho – just resets to the title screen

And here are some games that aren't SCDs at all, or are "secretly" dual-compatible, and work just fine on system 1.0
Builderland
Record of Lodoss War (SCD version)
Macross 2036 (this one really surprised me!!)
Ranma 1/2 DATŌ, GANSO MUSABETSU KAKUTŌ-RYŪ!
Yawara!

Some games I didn't try, usually because I don't own them:
Jim Power (mine is sealed and suddenly that game has gone up in price so I felt weird opening it!), but I reckon that one has nothing just like the other Micro World stuff.
Nexzr (non-caravan)
Sylphia
Anearth Fantasy Stories Taikenban
Fire Pro Female Wrestling
Far East of Eden: Kabuki Itouryodan (I own this, where did it go ;_;)
Madou Monogatari
Linda3

I'd also like to note that moonlight lady has a really cute long animated sequence for their error message! also that disc 2 of galaxy fraulein yuna has the same error message as yuna 2.
#32
I couldn't find a thread about this, apologies if there is one.

I recently got Record of Lodoss War, and Record of Lodoss War II. I tried the first one out for an hour or so, decided it was a bit overly traditional, and went to put II in, to test that out. I grab the disc, put it in the console, and it's the same game. Same intro, loads my save, and all that.

At first I am baffled - the disc clearly says Super CD and has different art from the first one I put in.

Then I realize Record of Lodoss War II has two discs - the second disc is the actual Lodoss II - the first disc is Record of Lodoss War I, Super CD version.

Are there many instances of SCD remakes of CD games? What's different? Access to more RAM meaning faster loading, or what?

I know there were SCD/ACD dual-compatible games, and SGX/PCE dual compatible games - were there CD/SCD hybrids? And indeed, were there any other CD games that got an SCD "remake"/reprint? I'd be really curious to see if this game is actually different, or whether they simply slapped the SCD icon on it.

Thought you all might enjoy it. looks to be katsuhiro otomo, unless I miss my guess! I don't know why he'd do a cover of PC Engine Tsuushin, but it sure looks like his work!
#36
So the NES/Famicom was the beginning of modern "locked down" consoles, with checks, requirements, approvals, dos and don'ts. NEC is known for having a much more lax approach to this, as seen by the blood/nudity, etc that you can find in PCE/turbo games.

I just noticed a curious and very small side effect of this in a FACE game I recently got hold of. (I happen to be a fan of FACE, a very odd little company that had an explosion of games for 2 years and then faded into nothing.)

FACE always does little newsletters in their games, making the "volume" on the spine have a little more meaning in this case compared to other companies. Anyway, in the game Mahjong Gakuen Mild, which is essentially a censored version of Mahjong Gakuen, they had a little advertisement in there - for a Famicom game.

IMG

The text essentially says, "Finally FACE makes a game for the Famicom! Chiyo no Fuji no Ooichou" is the complete sumo fighting package," etc etc.

This is the game:
I just can't imagine a single other console, (PC is possible!) where you'd have an ad for a game on another console - one which is unavailable on the console for which you just bought a game.

Okay! That is all.
#37
I haven't seen a comprehensive list of all turbo/pce games with a caravan mode - maybe I am just not seeing it! But on the off chance such a list does not exist, I'd like to make one.

CD
- Spriggan [Seirei Senshi Spriggan] (Summer Carnival '91)
- Alzadick (Summer Carnival '92)
- Nexzr [Nexzr Special] (Summer Carnival '93)
- Star Parodier
- Tokimeki Memorial (Force Gear and Twinbee)
- Anearth Fantasy Stories Taikenban (Cycho Rider)

HU
- Super Star Soldier
- Final Soldier
- Soldier Blade
- Gunhed (Special)
- Terra Cresta II
- Coryoon: Child of Dragon

ALMOST CARAVAN
- Parodius Da!

BOSS RUSH
- Super Darius

I must be missing some though, yes?

(I was always surprised there wasn't anything in Galaxy Fraulein Yuna)
#38
I just noticed something today - Telenet's 10th CD game (TJ0010), the impossible shooter Legion, takes place in 2060, according to the manual. Telenet's 11th CD game (TJ0011), the less-impossible Avenger, takes place in 2061, according to the manual.

What is Telenet's 12th CD game? WHEN DOES IT TAKE PLACE!? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
#39
Hey y'all.
I was just going through some of my lesser-used pc engine stuff, and noticed how many weird controllers they made.
I've got the avenue 6, the 3-button blaster, two hori PC Commanders, the american joysticks, the mouse, and three different color variants of the main PC Engine controller.

Then there are all the ones I don't have - the avenue 3, the pc-fx-style controller that came with the duo RX, and more...

So, what's your favorite?

The Blaster is nice, but not really necessary for most games. I find the Avenue 6 to be a bit too bulky. I actually think the PC Commander has a great form factor, and is super responsive and nice, which is typical of a Hori product. But!! One of the two doesn't register presses on the 1 button, and has an inferior turbo slider which I suspect may be the culprit. Maybe I'll clean it?

Anyhoo! Curious to hear your opinions on these weird controllers!
#40
hoping to find a copy of Ys III that won't break the bank. I used to have it, but now that I've alphabetized my collection, it appears it's gone now - did I sell it as an angsty teen? I'm not sure... but it feels likely :P

I've got some stuff I could trade, maybe, like psychic storm, star breaker, some other oddities...

but yeah, I'm hoping to pay $50 or less, since I once owned it and beat it a bunch of times, just sad to see it not in my collection, anymore!!
#41
hey folks -
recently a friend of mine showed me Super Metal Crusher, a game I had never really considered picking up before. It's a strategy game where all you really do is increase/decrease stats for robots, then watch them fight using their own super poor AI.

It's pretty boring if that's all you're doing - but if you have it going on a second TV while you're doing something else, or at a party or something, it's actually super great. You've got about 15 seconds of decision making, then about 3 minutes of watching your robot fight successfully, or explode in a shower of sadness. It's great for social situations.

Anyway! I suspect that Auto Crusher Palladium is the sequel. It has Crusher in the name, has a robot on the front cover, and is also made by pack-in-soft. I can't find video of it anywhere though, so I'm uncertain. Has anyone played this?

thanks!!!

Soooo my friend came over to my house and thought the ole led thingie in the middle of the console, to the left of the tray, was the on button. So he jammed it right in, and broke the thing, so now that's somewhere rattling around in my console. My question is - if I turn it on in this state is the little guard for the light in there likely to be touching anything important? Can I just use it as normal?

If not, where can I still get the kind of screwdriver that'll open that thing?

thanks!!! I sure wish he hadn't done that, because I haven't played my pc engine for like 2 months as a result!

[NEVERMIND, I just decided to dump them at gamestop. got like $15, hooray. haha.]

I've got some games here that aren't worth enough for me to bother selling, anyone want to trade them for some random pce/tg-16 games? I'm not picky. Everything has case and manual unless otherwise noted.

I've got:

PSP:
Hot Pixel
Lumines
Lumines II
Metal Gear Acid 2
Sega Genesis Collection
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters Greatest hits (game only)

DS:
Scurge Hive

PS2:
Midnight Club

360:
Lost Planet Extreme Condition

lemme know!

I don't know if there's ever been discussion about this here, but have any of you seen/investigated the data chips for the KORG Wavestation synth?

they sure look familiar. it'd be pretty wacky if a hucard wound up making random sounds on this machine. rather unlikely though.

Hey all. I did an interview with Meijin recently, who you may know as the marketing guy for hudson over the years, and also the inspiration for master higgins of adventure island and saturn bomberman fame.

It's here: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/4245/the_game_master_on_then_and_now.php

If you want to jump straight to the PC Engine bits: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/4245/the_game_master_on_then_and_now.php?page=4

hope you enjoyzzzzzzz. Interview was conducted in Japanese and then translated after the fact.

P.S. if you want to read my first interview with him one year ago, see here: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/3801/the_game_master_speaks_hudsons_.php. Lots more old discussion going on.

the seller (not me) seems to have multiples.

Think for a minute first, and DO NOT buy a shit ton of these and try to sell them for a ridiculous price later. Don't be a douchebag. Of course, the kinds of people who would do that won't listen to me anyway...

I got to thinking - games express is a taiwanese company, and often they don't scrap their old manufacturing technology, but rather stuff it in a closet somewhere.

My friend Frank, who runs Lost Levels, got Sachen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thin_Chen_Enterprise) to start printing up their old NES games again - I was thinking it might be possible to either get Games Express to either start printing their old hucards, or indeed pressing new ones. If anyone still has the affordable technology, it'd be them.

I'm wondering if anyone's tried to do this before?

I was talking to inrunranrinrunsomebody about this today, and just wanted to mention I got past the bit I was confused by - but humorously, you were saying I should give the baddies some credit not to put two conspirators in adjacent cells - but they did! She was just to the right, rather than in the one I could see. Hah!

Now I'm off to unravel the mystery of how to beat this boss. Gah!
Thanks again for the help.
