was wondering, i know that Hucard games had boxes.. except maybe keith courage..
but about cd games... i noticed some had boxes, some not.... 

anyone has info on that ?
like valis 2 and 3 have boxes...
but not beyond shadowgate.

A friend of mine came to me with this game.
he wasnt playing anymore and wanted to sell it to me for a good price

Surely someone played this game. 
was it worth the time ? i'm not much into fan-made game, but it looked nice. 

he told me that there's a lot of bugs tho,
i'm going to play on my PCengine DUO-R
dunno if there are console in particular that shows more bugs then the others.
anyway small reviews would be welcome

i recently had a friend who didnt have a single retro game.
since we started getting a good selection of games at home, he started to check for some as well.
one night he called to tell me about a lot he bough in a remote place from an old granny....for 20$.
including sega cd , popful mail and dark wizard, cd back-up , genesis and some good other games.
(he was laughing crazy when i told him how much was worth popful mail aprox)

i was amazed and lend him some cables that were missing for him to play.
No need to be jealous, i wanted him to keep playing and finding stuff.
after 3 days he decided to sell everything.. ok..so... in the end it was all about getting games to
sell them back i dared asked how much ?
he told me that i would have a special price of 400$. 
since we're good friends. 

told him to go fuck himself since he just bough the whole thing 20$. 
i dont mind giving more money to a friend ... i wasnt asking for 20$ back... but 400$ ? are you kidding
he didnt even KNEW what was popful mail until i told him on the phone
what kind of greedy bastard was that ! it didnt worth that much from start
his answer ?

"well if you look on ebay or price-charting you'd pay even more its a very good deal, you're just jealous."

me being jealous ? not at all.
in the end he sold this to someone on facebook for 350$. (so 400$ was MY special price ?)
with the cables i lend him....(i was pissed mad)
2 months later that same person who bough his kit
tryed to sold it 100$ more...

are people getting brain damaged or what ?

Hi everyone 

I recently tryed my best to make my little girl love video games as much as we do 
she's a bit young (2 years old)  but LOVES~ controllers and always looks so amazed to watch
what's on screen, moving by pushing buttons.
(she's all keith courage for now...despite continuously jumping)

any kids you know or have still interested in turbografx as well ?
.....my little nephew is ONLY interested in GTA or call of duty... *sigh*
it will take me a miracle from above to heal him

since i'm from Canada we dont have all the USA market in fast food around...
but i watch lots of shows and keep seeing some restaurants pubs i never heard about..
maybe some of them are in canada but not in my current region

some stuff looks delicious ....so much bacon...woah... 

fast food is bad for your health...
but sometime its hard to not step in and try it

[General Gaming / got a MV-1fz...trying hard to make it work]

Hi everyone

i recently came upon a deal to get a non-tested MV-1fz.
i already had many of the stuff needed to make it work. (well i think)
but i cant even get a video signal.

here's what i use.
Mv-1fz
138-in-1 cart with pcb thing..
vogatek IV supergun
atx PSU 600w.
scart cable + scart/hdmi box

when i plug a jack plug into the headphone im not hearing anything.
and no video is being shown...even when no game in 

but all lights are on when i start it up.
surely something is off that i dont understand.. anyone had something similar happening ?

i mean.. i love the Turbograx-16 , PCengine and duos..
its a great console and i love showing games to people who dont know a thing about it

but when i go against casual fanboys who knows shit....
i'm surely not the only one here that is pissed off.
anything you try to show those kind of fanboys/girls...they ALWAYS bring something up

-bonk looks dumb.. what a huge head, sonic or mario are way better..
-what kind of video game cart is that !? must be looking worst then the nes...
-haha a cd-rom attachement.... sega did one way earlier...they're just trying to copy... (wtf ._. )
-ONE controller... come on ! this console is just a pain
-blazing lazer ? yeah it looks ok but look here i got M.U.S.H.A.... it worth way more and its crazy...

I know about turbografx-16 boxes. 
but i didnt know that some CD games had one too until recently. 

so does it mean that every cd games had one ? i hope not
out of my 30 cd games only one seem to have a box..
and i thought it was a HU-card until yesterday.

[Console Repair/Mod Center / rgb, s-video, scart.....]

some months ago i ordered a Turboduo-R modded with s-video and RGB.
i had some problems with the s-video wich seemed to come from my HDTV sadly..
And for the RGB. i had to use scart cables. Wich was something new for me. 

i lost quite some money in failed attempt... it was japanese scart designed for Framemeister...
now i use a pal scart and everything look rather crisp and clear.

can someone tells me or even show me actual diference that a framemeister could do on a turboduo/tg16 ? 

im still pretty amazed at the picture the usual scart gives...

Yeah , started tonight playing the TurboDuo version. 
..the music in this game is pure delight. 

But there is something weird that seem ...out of place.

That intro you see at the begining of the game...
i made fun of the cover of the game thinking , oh wow, 'MURICA.
but seeing the exact same image in the intro i felt confuse...
it seem the artworks used at the begining dont match with the actual game's image/animation
that you get after you start a game

....and that blond guy ... 

someone has played the original japanese game on pc engine ?
is this the exact same intro ?

[PCE/TG-16|CD/SGX Discussion / spreading tg16 like a virus]

I always though since the old days that a TG16 could step up to nintendo and sega back then.
Sadly, so many people never even heard about this game console... its quite surprising. I dont know about you guys from diferent places and countrys, but at my place.. i guess we were'nt that many. Only met 5 people so far...  (face to face)

And now, years later. When i find someone crazy about nintendo & sega....
without a TG16/duo. the fun really start.

The look on their face when i make them play bonk, legendary axe, castlevania or lord of thunder. They totally freak out and weeks later have a TG16 at their home. Makes me wonder how things would be now if many more people would have fell in love with it sooner.

i really like the shadowgate series and noticed there's one on Turboduo.
I was very happy to see that until i saw the price !

surely some of you got the game already or tryed it.
i really love point and click genre so is this game worth it ?
