@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Quote from: Duo_R on 12/15/2008, 06:01 PMI used a monoprice cable that was tan (the connector tip):

This is how the connector tip used to look:

Secret - used new cabling and painted the tip with black paint (for the connector tip). You could also try using heat-shrink tubing if you sliced one end off (and replaced to a Duo controller internally).

Agreed.  If only they came in black.

Wait, is that black controller plug in the pic still the same plug as that white monoprice cable?

I don't remember that large retangular black thing near the end of the controller plug being in the original monoprice pic ;)

Quote from: hoobs88 on 12/11/2008, 10:23 AMI suspect that 'GameTimeVault' has obtained most of TZD/RedFrog's inventory since they appear to be selling a lot of similar items that TZD used to carry (such as bagged turbo pads, turbo pads with duo cords, sealed game titles that TZD never had luck selling). They have much better feedback and shipping prices are not as bad. I'm probably gonna get some of the Turbo pads with duo cords.
Is "GameTimeVault" a online retailer?, an Ebay seller?, an EBay store? (or all 3?)

I found gametimevault.com but it said "Page not found" -_-.

If they do have a separate (non ebay related) online website, could someone provide the correct URL please? ^_^

I wonder if they have Duo / PC Engine controller extension cables..

OH CRUD.

I hope tzd is not out of business. Where ELSE online are we supposed to buy brand new TG 16  / Duo controllers??

Quote from: Duo_R on 12/05/2008, 02:30 AMYou should change the name of this thread to "Did anyone ever use ______________ to clean your Duo???"

Compressed air is how I roll (and don't use it too close). You could try what you are doing but very little damping of the Q-tip and be extremely gentle with the laser pickup. Just like barely swipe it. Only necessary if you see some build-up on the laser.

Quote from: dhowerter on 12/02/2008, 10:35 PMWell, that is good to know. If I ever get a NEC CD system and have problems I'll try the cleaning cd first.

But just in case that fails .. :-k

Anyone ever try the "put isopropyl/rubbing alcohol and water mixture on the end of a Q-tip and gently clean the laser lens" method? (on ANY cd-based system - NEC, Saturn, PS1, Sega CD, etc.)

.
Duo_R / ALL -

Heh. Well, technically, it might not be a Duo I clean, but a Turbo CD or PC Engine CD

2 questions:

1. About my Q-tip / alcohol & water method for cleaning the laser lens:

Once I clean the lens (vey gently ), do I DRY it with a dry Q-tip (would that scratch the lens even if I am very gentle?) or would it be better to just let the water / alcohol evaporate?

2. I've never used compressed air; would you aim it directly AT the laser lens (from in front of the lens) to clean it or more parallel to the top of the lens (more from the side)?

Also, what is a good distance from the can to the lens?

Hasn't anyone tried one of those "brush on a CD" laser lens cleaning discs on their NEC CD system? (Turbo CD, PC Engine CD, Duo, Duo-R, etc.)

If you have, please try to answer the question in my November 26th post.
(Is it safe to use / does it work on NEC CD systems? ;)

 Thanks! ^_^

Duo_R - I currently don't have an available digital camera, so never mind for now :)

Quote from: Duo_R on 11/18/2008, 02:09 AMOS - I would not recommend a CD cleaner that uses liquid. The best kind is the one that has the little brush, and you play track 1 and then it will tell you to skip to the next track or something.
ALL -

Hmm, I have the "Recoton CD Game Laser Lens Cleaner" (cd with little brush on the bottom ;)

I want to know if it is safe to use (and if they work) on a Turbo / PC Engine CD or Duo because at the time I bought the cleaner, the Saturn and PS1 were out and those 2 systems had a slightly different way of holding the game disc than the NEC systems do.

The PS1 and Saturn have one of those little rotating plastic nubs with little metal things on it to HOLD the game disc securely to the nub. The NEC systems don't have that, right? The disc just sort of lays there on the spindle in the NEC machines, correct?

I figured that because of that difference, the disc might be a slightly different height from the laser lens in the ps1/Saturn vs the NEC cd systems. (and thus the brush, too high or too low).

SO, has anyone tried using one of these brush on a CD devices (Recoton or other brand) on a TurboGrafx / PC Engine CD OR on a Duo (of any type)?

Duo_R - WOW, awesome ASCII art  :D

Anyway, thanks for all the info!

ALL -

I also found another multisystem cleaning kit I have made by Naki.

Anyone here have this one? It says it cleans several systems including the Genesis, TurboGrafx, Atari systems, etc. It has a "handle cleaner" and a "joint" cleaner (the handle part goes in a larger cleaner) plus some cleaning wands for the games and some cleaning fluid.

Anyone here have this one and has used it on a TG 16 / PC Engine / Duo? If yes, how did it work?  :D

2. I used the wand labaled B, I realized that in the manual this is actually the wand used for Gameboy and Sega Game Gear. The width of the cleaning cart is the same thickness of a Hucard, but not as wide as a hucard. What I have to do is clean with the cleaning cart all the way to the left, then all the way to the right.

Here is how you use the kit to clean your Duo (or any TG / PCE system):

First: the tools you will use for the cleaning:
/img00008200811181910ax4.jpg

1. you use the wand by inserting and removing about 6 times (no fluid).

/img00010200811181911na0.th.jpg

Here is a shot of the cart before and after inserting 6 times (notice the HuCard pin marks in the photo on right):

/1118081918bev9.th.jpg/1118081919ik9.th.jpg

2. Use the fluid (it is a mixture of water and rubbing alcohol) and dampen a clean cloth with the fluid, doesn't have to be overly soaked.

/1118081917atc1.th.jpg

3. Use the dampened cloth to wipe off the cleaning wand then wipe the wand dry with another section of the cloth:
/1118081918ir8.th.jpg

4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you get alot of dirt out of your system (I ususally will go like 6 intervals). Yes that dark stain came from my Duo (yuck):

/1118081923aof6.th.jpg

Ahhhh......look at those pearly Hucard pins:

/11180819262oo1.jpg
Nice pic tour ^_^

Couple questions left:

1. You didn't mention it in your "tour" but I am unclear on this statement:
"What I have to do is clean with the cleaning cart all the way to the left, then all the way to the right."

Does this mean you insert the wand ,THEN move it to the right and left while STILL INSERTED ? OR
Do you do what you describe with the in and out motion all the way to the left and then in and out AGAIN with the wand all the way to the right?

2. What kind of cloth is that exactly and in case I can't find something similar, would a rubbing alcohol /water mixture on cotton balls or Q-tips also work to clean the dirt off the cleaning wand?

3. Finally, because I'm curious, how come you didn't use wand A? (the largest one) :D Isn't that the wand the instructions say to use on the TG 16? Does it not fit in the chip slot or something?

:-)

Hey, I HAVE that cleaning kit LOL

Anyway, Duo_R, a couple questions if you please ;) :

1. What exactly was wrong with your Duo's chip slot? And using one of the system cleaning wands in this kit on your Duo's chip slot fixed it completely?

2. When you fixed the Duo, which cleaning wand (A, B or C) was the one you actually used to fix it?
(they are labelled A, B and C in that manual you have in the pic :)
I just want to know which one *definitely* works ;)

3. Finally, when you actually fixed your Duo with the wand, did you use ANY cleaning liquid on the wand you put in to the Duo's chip slot?
or was it dry when you inserted it?

Thanks! ^_^

QuoteThe owner recommended a contact cleaner spray called "Blow Off" which is what he uses to clean the contacts on cartridges and systems. I use it now too. It works well.
You mean a can of stuff you spray into the TG 16 chip slot?

Is it just compressed air, or is there some kind of cleaner solution in it?

Did you actually have a problem with your chip slot and this product fixed it?
#14
Hi all :)

I just want to know if ANYONE (Hudson, a third party, etc.) ever made a TurboGrafx 16 or PC Engine Cleaning Kit.

Mainly, I would want one to clean the contacts in the chip slot of my TG 16 and the contacts in the chip slot of my Japanese --> US Hucard Converter (and in the chip slot of a PC Engine system or a Duo if I ever get one - I'd hate to get one of those and NOT be able to clean the system contacts; I'd feel like I was making my Chips dirty by putting them in there :( ).

Does anybody have any clue who made them, how well each brand worked, and where could you buy one today online?  O:)
(obviously, if you have one that works well, please chime in)

Geez lol, that is unfortunate, BUT at least they did replace it :) .
I've just spent the last hour looking for another online store that carries the PCE Neo Flash cart and ic2005 is the only one I can find. -_-

Couple questions occured to me:

1. Does anyone know their customer service email address? (maybe someone who has dealt with them before)

Hi again all.

I'm on the verge of buying the PC Engine / Turbografx Flash Cart that nat recomended in a previous thread of mine (the 64 Meg PC Engine Neo Flash cart from ic2005.com).

But I have some essential questions before I take the plunge :

1. Is ic2005.com a reliable online retailer? If the flash cart doesn't work when I get it, I can return it, correct?

Is there ANY other place (just in case) you can buy the 64 Meg Neo PC Engine Flash cart? (if you have had a good experience with another retailer offering the flash cart, please tell me)

2. Is it true that you need to rewrite the ENTIRE flash cart if you want to change anything on the cart? (adding or deleting ROMS)

3. Which PC Engine / Turbografx ROM extensions does this particular flash cart support? (The only one I know of so far is ".pce")
Are there any other ones it supports?

4. Is there any difference in video or sound quality between a original hucard version of a specific game played on a TG 16 and that same game as a ROM on a PCE Flash cart played on the same TG 16?
Any other things like static? graphical glitches, etc in the flash cart version compared to a original hucard? (assuming of course the ROM is not a bad dump ;)

5. Finally, I've read some other threads here on the 64 Meg Neo Flash PC Engine Flash carts (this one specifically) where some people say it does NOT work on a normal USA TG16 and OTHER people have it work just perfectly on their US Tg16s -_- (note: just a TG 16, no cd attachment, tho in my case I will have a Turbo Booster there)

So is there an inherent problem using this particular flash cart on a CD-less ;) USA TG 16? If there is, how do you get around it / make it work reliably (or at least as reliably as possible   )

Thanks! :)
#19
Well, I agree that is possible. Although if someone does know about the battery questions in my October 8th post, please repond ;)

MORE importantly tho, how about my third and most important question, namely: (quoting myself):

"3. Finally, anybody know any reliable online stores where you can buy a Tennokoe Bank? (please list the one with the cheapest price you know of, I may buy 2 ;)"

Lots of people here have Tennokoe Banks; they must have gotten them from somewhere.
#20
Can anyone please answer any of the Tennokoe Bank questions in my October 8th post? O:)   (answer any you know)

I'd like to buy one but I need to know the answers to those 3 questions first.

(especially since one of the questions is WHERE online to buy them ;\ - heck, lots of you have a Tennokoe Bank, so I know you got it somewhere ^_^)

And I might also order the replacement batteries now too for the Tennokoe Bank but I need to know what the difference in BR and CR is ;) (see October 8th post for full question)

Thanks!
#21
Can anyone who knows about the Tennokoe Bank please answer my Tennokoe Bank questions above? (October 8th post)

(The *English* battery replacement FAQ, the model number of the battery (and the "BR" question), and perhaps most importantly, the online stores where you can buy a Tennokoe Bank question :)

Thanks!

 ALL:

DOH! I didn't realize a Tennokoe Bank doesn't let you DELETE individual files. Bummer  #-o

Well, OK, I got to get:
    -  a CD System Card 2.0 (for viewing / deleting files) AND
    -  a Tennokoe Bank or 2 (for file storage) AND
    -  Order of the Griffon (USA chip - to see file sizes)

Geez lol. Complicated, isn't it? ^_^

SO a few burning questions here ;) : (about the Tennokoe Bank)

1. Does anybody have the link to a Tennokoe Bank Battery Replacement FAQ IN ENGLISH? (I don't read Japanese)

(I found a couple FAQs in Japanese; the links to them were actually in the thread someone linked to about the Namami Bank ;)

2. What is the designation of the little round battery inside the Tennokoe?       (like for example CR2032 is the one inside the Sega Saturn)

       a. I think it is CR2320, but I want to confirm that. Is this correct?

       b.  I wanted to replace the battery in the Tennokoe with the exact same battery (a Panasonic CR2320 I think) and I did a little searching for Panasonic CR2320 batteries, but all I could find is Panasonic BR2320 (B instead of C)

Anybody know if BR2320 and CR2320 are exactly the same battery?

I'm double checking this because I accidentally FRIED my Saturn by replacing the CR2032 battery in it  (which is rechargable) with a DL2032 (which is NOT rechargable -_-)

3. Finally, anybody know any reliable online stores where you can buy a Tennokoe Bank? (please list the one with the cheapest price you know of, I may buy 2 ;)

Thanks!

Quote from: dhowerter on 09/30/2008, 11:14 PM1. Does it keep asking you if you would like to delete EACH save file in memory until you go through them ALL? (if you select NO) ie. in some kind of order maybe from largest file to smallest? OR does it just ask about one file (the largest?) and that is it?
It keeps asking about each file in memory in the order that it was created (the same order that they appear when viewed from a system card).

Quote from: dhowerter on 09/30/2008, 11:14 PM2. Does it stop asking the moment you clear enough save space for the OOTG save file? (412 units)
Yes.

Quote from: dhowerter on 09/30/2008, 11:14 PM3. Does Falcon (the other hucard that tellls you file sizes) work the same way?
Not really; Falcon's memory manager shows up as soon as the card boots and finds the memory is full.  It bears a passing resemblance to the following:

*****************************
*****************************
**THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE*****
**TO SAVE GAMES IN SRAM********
*****************************
**CHOOSE FILES TO ERASE OR******
**PRESS SELECT TO IGNORE SRAM***
      --------------------------
     |   FILENAME              SIZE    |

***|   GODZILLA.X              20   |***
***|----------------------------|***
***|   SIZE NEEDED             14   |***
***------------------------------***

Tremble before my mighty ascii skillz!

It's a very utilitarian looking screen (black and white no less).  You scroll up/down to see the other save files, press RUN when you find one to sacrifice, it gets deleted (without confirmation of your selection), and the game starts like normal.
Heh. Your ASCII skills are quite nice actually  8)

Three more Order of the Griffon questions:

1.    In the screenshot of OOTG I linked to
    (  https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=974.0  )

it says it needs 412 units to save, but in the game save FAQ
    (  http://turbo.mindrec.com/files/gamesave.faq  )

it says that Order of the Griffon needs 412 units to save AND it lets you create 4 save files

SO does EACH of the 4 OOTG save files take up 412 units? or is 412 all 4 together?

2. If you had lets say, 2 OOTG save files in memory, would it STILL be 412 units? or half that? (206 units)

3. I figure that if I wanted to manage my saves using OOTG, I could *FORCE* the Order of the Griffon "Delete menu" (the menu in the screenshot that asks you if you want to delete the files) to come up by doing this:
I could simply start playing OOTG for a few minutes, then save , then move to a new location and then save again and repeat that until I ran out of room ;), thus causing the menu to pop up.

Would that work? If not, could you recommend another way to get the OOTG delete menu to pop up when you want it to?
#24
Can anyone who knows (or who has Order of the Griffon) please answer my OOTG questions above?

This might be the best way for me to see save file sizes (with cd drive of any type), so I'd like to understand how it works.  :-k

Thanks!

OK.. well I can't use Valis 4 because I don't have a Turbo / PCE CD-ROM drive.

That being said, maybe I can use Order of the Griffon HuCard to see the file sizes.

BUT I had a question about that.

If you look here: https://www.pcengine-fx.com/forums/index.php?topic=974.0

in the first post you will see a screenshot of OOTG asking if you want to delete ONE specific file.

My questions:
   1. Does it keep asking you if you would like to delete EACH save file in memory until you go through them ALL? (if you select NO) ie. in some kind of order maybe from largest file to smallest?
OR does it just ask about one file (the largest?) and that is it?

Quote from: ccovell on 09/27/2008, 10:55 PMThe BRAM tool makes a backup of individual files, and renames them with filenames that have an ever-increasing name/number.  This means that backups don't have the same name as the originals, and that you can backup the same file twice, three times, etc.

You can even backup a backup ad infinitum.  But that would be silly.

IMG

PCE ROM available here: https://www.chrismcovell.com/creations.html

I've been busy doing other programming projects, but I've been thinking about putting this on an ISO for easy burning to a PCE-CD.  Would anyone use this ?
I'm interested in the BRAM tool (just for managing save game data and seeing the file SIZES, not editing it tho), but that screenshot of it has me confused  :-s

For example, it lists the size of the Coryoon save as "24"
I assume that is 24 units (the unit of measurement for save game sizes; with around 2000 units total for CD system save space or a Turbo Booster Plus),   correct?

BUT then "Falcon.His" has a size of "4C" O_O or Dracula X has a size of "A0"!!
How can you have a size of 4C?? (it's supposed to be a number) How do you convert that into the numerical normal save units?

PLease help! -_- Thanks.

Yikes ;) SO 2 questions come to mind here:

1. How big is the save file for Parasol Stars? (# of save units)

2. I think I remember someone talking about some kind of "reset" trick with Parasol Stars. Something about making the game think you had played 99 times to get a umbrella or something?    :-s

Could anyone fill me in on that? (specifically the reset trick and how you do it :) and uh why you do it   :-k.  )

Unfortunately they're not screwed together, but rather glued.  I've had my Populous card apart to peak under its cap (which is identical to the Tennokoe Bank), and it wasn't that difficult to pry it open with a small screwdriver and a lot of patience.
Wow. OK thanks for all the info :-) Flash carts are kinda expensive tho for just running the BRAM tool tho (and I doubt anyone here will encourage me to play PCE roms on this thing ;) Not sure what I'm going to do there.

TO Necromancer / ALL:

Since it seems like a Tennokoe Bank does exactly what a system card does anyway (in terms of data management), I might as well get a Tennokoe to back up data.

SO a few burning questions ;) :

1. Once you open a Tennokoe Bank, how do you close it again? ^_^ (reglue it or does it snap shut?)

2. Does anybody have the link to that Tennokoe Bank Battery Replacement FAQ? (I think it MIGHT come in handy ;)

I figure if I back up the Turbo Booster Plus memory to TWO Tennokoe Banks, the odds of both of them dying at the same time is low ;)

Quote from: nat on 09/25/2008, 02:00 AMThere a utility called the BRAM Utility that does everything you asked about though-- it lists file names, sizes, how much memory is being used, and how much is free. It also lets you duplicate individual files and even edit the data, IIRC. I love it.

The catch is that you have to have a flash cartridge to use it since it's not available on any commercial HuCards. (You download the utility from the web, then load it on the flash cart via your USB port on your computer, then use the flash cart in your system.)
Hmmm interesting..

1. How much does a TG16 / PCE flash cart cost?

2. Anyone know of any good reliable places to buy one?

3. Would I need to use my pce--> tg16 converter for it?

4. Anybody have the link for this BRAM Utility?

5. Does anyone have a link to a Tennokoe Bank Battery Replacement FAQ / Guide? (someone mentioned there is one in my previous thread)

6. Finally, do you need any kind of special tool (like a gamebit) to OPEN the Tennokoe Bank? How DO you open the thing? ;-)
(If it's anything like a normal chip game, I don't see any obvious ways to open it :-)

Hi :) Quick question: Does the USA chip Parasol Stars save (on internal CD system memory or a Turbo Booster Plus)?

Someone linked me to a gamesave FAQ (on turbo.mindrec.com) which said that PS didn't save at ALL, but then I found some threads that mentioned it DOES have a save feature -_-

SO which is it?  :D (oh and if it does save, does it save actual game progress?)

Finally, is there a FAQ/list/forum post /whatever that lists which games REALLY have save features? ;) (if the one I mentioned is inaccurate)

Hi there  O:)

Two main questions here.

What I want to know is:

1.    - the various options (various available HuCard type products) for *backing up game save data* (on my USA TG16 with Turbo Booster PLUS and I have a PCE-->TG16 chip converter if it's necessary)

So far, the only one I know about is the Tennokoe Bank Hucard (powered by a battery, not a capacitor or some other kind of memory, correct?)

Any other Hucard type products you would care to recommend for this purpose? :)

and also I wanted to know: (perhaps even more important)

2.    - the options (various HuCard type products) to simply MANAGE game save data (that is, to be able to SEE and DELETE game save files, as well as see their NAMES, FILE SIZE, and AVAILABLE MEMORY LEFT)

and without having to wait until the memory runs out of space to do that ^^ (Order of the Griffon and Falcon ;)

Normally, I would just go get a cheap System card 2.0 for this except someone mentioned before that it does not show the file SIZES or how much memory is left -_-      (only file names, that IS correct, yes?)

BTW, the Tennokoe Bank DOES let you view and delete in the Turbo Booster PLUS memory with ALL of the following, correct?
File name, File SIZE, Available memory left

If the battery in the Tennokoe Bank dies, would I still be able to view / delete game save data in the Turbo Booster Plus? (or doees it stop working completely if the battery goes)

I would be using anything you recommend on my USA TG 16 with Turbo Booster PLUS. (and if necessary, my PCE-->TG16 chip converter)

(those 2 functionalities #1 and #2 may or may not be in the same card tho ;)

Please recommend away ^_^

Quote from: dhowerter on 09/16/2008, 08:05 PM4. Finally, is it true there is no menu / screen to let you organize / delete saves off the TB Plus? So how do you know when it's almost full? (and you won't be able to save at some point ;)
QuoteAny system card will let you view and delete save files, but they won't reveal file sizes or the amount of unused memory.  Get yourself a copy of Order of the Griffon to see file sizes, remaining memory, and delete files; there's one caveat here though - the memory manager won't show up unless you try to save a game when there's not enough room.
Hmm ok some questions:

1. How much memory TOTAL is in the Turbo Booster PLUS to save games on?

2. Roughly what is the range of sizes for TG-16 CHIP game saves (not CD game saves)?

3. If a PC Engine chip game supports a SAVE function, can I save with that game on a USA TG 16 with Turbo Booster Plus? (I have a PC Engine to TG 16 converter)
      - I hear that a PC Engine game that has a save function has a little AA battery -like icon on the case?  Is it also on the chip? (or the manual)

4. Any clue where I can get a complete list (at least USA titles but PC engine chips would be nice too :) of chip games that support the SAVE function? (and maybe WHAT they save ;), like game progress or just high score for example)

Quote from: Joe Redifer on 09/16/2008, 08:16 PM4.  You can access the saves on a TurboBooster Plus by inserting a CD System Card into the HuCard slot and pressing the mythical and legendary "Select" button.  This will take you to a secret screen!
Two questions: (anyone can answer)

Will that work with the Turbo Grafx 16 System Card version 2.0?
(since isn't 2.0 MUCH more common and less expensive than the 3.0 system card?)

Also, just to confirm, you can access the saves on a Turbo Booster Plus with a system card, even if you have NO Turbo Grafx CD hooked up to the TG 16, correct?

BTW, I posted this here and in the TG 16 Forum since neither forum is super active ;)

Hi there. I have a couple questions about the Turbo Booster PLUS and the Tennokoe Bank (am I spelling this right?? ;-)   I hope you guys can help me with.  O:)

1. How does the PLUS actually save your game? I mean inside the Plus is there:
      - a EEPROM? (no battery or power source needed),
      - some flash memory? (no battery or power source needed),
      - S-RAM with a SAVE Battery? (battery needed for power and you lose saves when it dies),
      - some kind of capacitor? (no battery but you have to charge it up)

2. Whatever it uses, how long do the saves last in a Turbo Booster PLUS? (if it has a battery in there)

3. If it uses some kind of capacitor, how long do you need the system on to fully "charge it up"? And once it is fully charged, how long will it hold saves? (a month? a year?)

4. Finally, is it true there is no menu / screen to let you organize / delete saves off the TB Plus? So how do you know when it's almost full? (and you won't be able to save at some point ;)

5. The Tennokoe Bank hucard, btw, what does IT have inside it to let you save on it? (a battery? ,EEPROM? Flash memory? , a capacitor?)
(I have a USA TG 16 btw and I DO have a PC Engine to TG 16 converter to use it with)

6. How much is a Tennokoe Bank nowadays? and do they tend to be reliable?

Thanks! :D

QuoteThere's absolutely no need for region seperation. I really like Seldane's proposed layout. And of course include the SuperGrafx in the TG/PCE forum.
I agree with every part of this quote ;)

His layout is neat and concise.

Any mods / other people with the power to change this want to chime in on the merging of the PCE and TG 16 boards?

I'm curious.

I have the Playstation 1 import called "Cotton Original". I'm sure it is the same basic game as the PC Engine CD Cotton, but in case anybody has actually played both (I've never played the PCE CD one), what is different (if anything) between them? :)

For example, exact same music? Is the ps1 one easier? Heck is the ps1 one just emulating the PCE CD ;)?

I ask about the ps1 one being easier because I have both Cotton 100% SNES and Cotton 100% Ps1 and the ps1 one definitely seems easier for some reason..

Anybody know of any FORUMS for the PC Engine and / or Turbo Grafx-16?

I can't seem to find many forums with either the whole forum or even just a smaller category in the forum devoted to the PC Engine and / or Turbo Grafx-16.

Does anyone know of any?

BTW, if you know of a forum where people know a lot about PC Engine / Turbo grafx-16 stuff but it is not strictly a TG 16 / PC Engine forum, please list it anyway ;)

(For example, if it was labelled as a "Classic Gaming" section of a forum but people there knew a lot about PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 stuff, list it :)

What are some good online sites / stores to buy PC Engine games from?

I was just wondering if anyone here knew of some good online sites / stores to buy PC Engine games (Japanese Turbo Grafx-16 games) from? (primarily thinking of PC Engine CHIP games but also CDs ;-)

(in addition to EBay of course)

Anyone know any?
