The cartridges contain every region the game was programmed for. AES, MVS. Europe, Japan, America. The BIOS chip tells the cartridge where you are. Get a UNIBIOS chip and you can unlock the full potential of your carts.

I would like to do this to an extra tennokoe 2 that I have laying around. Will the complete kit you sell allow me to add the composite output or just the RGB? Forgive my ignorance, as I am new to the RGB stuff.

the kit is just for RGB but i can include some rca jacks for you

I've got some RCA jacks laying around, I was just curious about the smaller chip next to the RGB amp. It looks to me like the composite A/V signal runs from the expansion port>smaller chip>RCA jacks>RGB jack.
