Quote from: BlueBMW on 01/19/2017, 12:36 AMCheck the discs themselves for the numbers. That's a quick way to tell US from Japan. US games start with like PEASU while Japan games are PEASJ or something like that.so they are both PEASU1003. but the plot thickens a bit. i dont know how i missed this before, but they both have difference prints in the center of the discs. i'm starting to believe in the different print runs theory. my only issue with that is that the print numbers on these were so small, i don't understand what would justify multiple print runs

Very nice tv!
Quote from: SignOfZeta on 12/18/2016, 07:48 PMWas the power supply you replaced it with *not* Chinese?good point. short answer: probably. long answer: it is at least branded by toshiba unlike the nameless piece of shit .
Quote from: Medic_wheat on 12/18/2016, 01:34 PMi dont have a vita, but i do have a ps tv and ps4 so it definitely affects my purchaseQuote from: schweaty on 12/18/2016, 12:06 PMWill lone survivor on vita be playstation tv compatible? It says the digital version is on the PS store so I don't see why the physical version wouldn't beI feel you may be correct in that assumption.
I really wish they would come out and say when their vita games will or will not be ps tv compatible. As for me it could affect my desision to purchase their vita games. As more often then not they offer their vita games for the PS4 and I'd like to know which version will meet my needs.

Quote from: thesteve on 12/16/2016, 09:02 PMIt's 100µFi can confirm this. i put the cap in and my CD player started working. should probably add it to the charts
Half won't run without it
Quote from: BlueBMW on 12/15/2016, 06:18 PMI believe in the units I've worked on that cap location was left empty.ok... i couldnt remember if i pulled a cap there or not. i seem to remember the last time i did one of these a couple of years ago, there was a cap there and i noted the value because it wasnt on the chart. i could be misremembering tho.
Quote from: mickcris on 12/07/2016, 09:44 AM99% sure its 4.0mm x 1.7mm and it would be center negative.i can confirm, this is 100% correct. thanks again!
Quote from: guest on 12/05/2016, 04:01 PMthey go on sale regularly in the $70 range. good luckQuote from: schweaty on 12/04/2016, 05:31 PMI like it for the price. I wouldn't consider it audiophile quality, but you aren't going to find a wireless rechargeable 7.1 headset for even close to the same money from another brand. Thanks for the mini-review. I will keep an eye out for them.
Quote from: TheClash603 on 12/03/2016, 03:00 PMPS 4 Pro sucked for me, it isn't compatible with my 2015 M Series Vizio TV. Had to move it to my only other 4k TV that's in the house, which is a not very good LG in the bedroom that I had no intention of playing games on. PS VR is still hooked up to the old PS4, and the better VR experience is the main reason I bought a Pro.I believe I saw that Sony is working with the tv manufacturers to update there software to fix HDR compatibility issues. Hopefully your issue will get resolved soon. My LG OLED works perfectly. I got lucky. I didn't realize there were so many TV compatibility issues until after I had bought the system
Quote from: Joe Redifer on 12/03/2016, 02:04 PMI'm curious as to why extra controllers are sold. Do ANY PS4 games have local split-screen multiplayer? Any at all? Well I guess if they break then it's good to be able to get another one, but is there even such a thing as "player 2" any more?I mostly got it because it was $30 and if something happens to my main, I have a cheap backup. That being said, I know Star Wars Battlefront does have split screen couch co-op/multiplayer. I'm still new to the system so I am not aware of others.
Quote from: gynt on 11/30/2016, 08:39 PMThe museum in frisco, TX is legit. I went there in Oct and absolutely loved it. Very well executedQuote from: elmer on 11/30/2016, 06:52 PMhave you not seen the museum in Texas?Quote from: shubibiman on 11/30/2016, 05:23 PMThe documentary is in english ;)I have no idea why it's in English ... but that's perfect!
Thanks for the link, it was really interesting to watch.
I'm so glad that someone is out there trying to preserve these old games for people to see/play, as opposed to those folks that just want to collect stuff and horde it away.
Quote from: crazydean on 10/31/2016, 11:32 PMSteam hearts, eh? I wonder what your plans are with that...It's decent little booby. I mean shooty... I totally meant to say shooty...
Quote from: TurboXray on 10/28/2016, 03:02 PMWe're getting Neutopia III in 199X. Everyone just needs to be patient. DammitQuote from: Tsavathay on 10/28/2016, 12:06 PMHonestly - it has to be crystalis. It was my first action adventure RPG played and finished.Crystalis is pretty dawn awesome. I'm not sure of any on hucard that matches the atmosphere and music of that game. As far as CD games, I'm sure there are. Hudson really messed up be not doing a high quality Neutopia 3 on SCD. But Ys I&II on PCE CD is better than Crystalis IMO as an action RPG.
I loved it because:
The story line was sick- just seemed to have no limits was vast and worldly.
Tasks/side quests - some were very puzzling/challenging, some logical, but when you completed them (in the right order) the payoff is well worth it - u get to teleport, u get to ride a dolphin, u get meet Kensu/zebu...crazy gameplay! Ahead of its time
The music - probably best ever
Level up/battle system - 4 elemental swords, power boots, magic
Characters/graphics
If anyone loved it too let me know ur thots or games on pc engine that can trump it??
Took me (and all my brothers) forever to , the story seemed to have no limits,
Quote from: Dicer on 10/04/2016, 07:06 PMIs it 199x yet?Quote from: esteban on 10/04/2016, 04:54 PMHudson was planning SUPER NEUTOPIA for SUPER NINTENDO, but cancelled the project.Good...
