I have been hearing about this (Neo Geo Multicart) on RetroRGB's weekly videos. It is going to be around $400. Not bad considering the cost of the library. I have been looking into getting a MVS and either consolize it or get one consolized and a 161 in 1 cart. but this Flash cart has me thinking I should get a Neo Geo before the year is out.

It is a cool piece of tech. It doesn't work for me. I have Duos. Also I already have an upscale solution and RGB out of a turbo console is way more useful for me. I want a SuperGrafx and the first thing I would want with that would be RGB out.

Last weekend I got the chance you hookup the switcher to a PVM and also to my XRGB mini at the same time. It has been working great. Since I got the switcher I have all my systems hooked up at once. So switching between systems I can do easily without having to hook up and track down a power outlet. Also it got me to find the AC adaptor for my old Pelican Component switcher. I will add photos later today once I hook it all back up. I had to pretty much gut it all to take it with me but it shouldn't take long. So far it has been very nice and does just what it says.

I remember renting the system when it first came out confirming that I needed to save up and buy it. I did just that with my babysitting money and lawn mowing money. I already had a Genesis for the last year but Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World was enough.

Well the GSCARTSW arrived today. I hooked it all up tonight and it is working great. I love the auto switching. I at first trying to turn it all on it wasn't working and I thought I broke the whole thing. It turned out to be the AV Famicom AC adaptor was not firmly plugged in. Everything works. I will be testing it much more and report back. So far it is pretty nice. Long wait but worth it.

I have 6 slots being used leaving 2 more spots open for the future. I am using these.

That is a nice box. Congrats I'm sure it will go to a loving home. I don't get to collect boxes as I threw too many away over the years. I don't really regret it so I refuse to start collecting now. Although this box is special if it wasn't sold I might want it. Nope I can't think about collecting boxes.

I have ordered a gscartsw it is an 8 in 1 out. I can give you impressions once I get it. I have about 6 systems already that I use SCART with. It has auto switching and two outputs. So I could if I had a PVM hook it up to that and to my Framemeister. It can also be daisy chained. It is not cheap. I haven't seen a decent switcher that is cheap.

I played with magnets on the TV when I was a kid. I remember learning to fix it but I would still be hesitant to try that today.

I also enjoy playing on my LCD with my XRGB mini using RGB. I would like a PVM someday I find one.

Well I have so far gone the route of an HD scaler (XRGB mini) in combination with getting an RGB signal out of my old consoles to play on My TV in the living room. I have a CRT in another room with a component video option. I will likely get a SCART to Component adaptor to play them on the CRT. I do want a PVM like 20".

I hate stretched out video. The games look to me very good clear and faithful with extremely low latency. Latency seems to be the most important spec in looking at new TVs for me.

I think I would get it for the novalty. I will still play NES games on my NES. I have a nice setup with the NES being RGB modded and connected to the XRGB-mini.

I don't think this will give you the best results but it could be convenient enough to use. I want to see the controller. If it uses standard classic controllers then I am ok but the controller is not great I should get a pro controller. Also the cable is not very long.

You know stuff at the caliber of the Odd World which to date feels like the onlly highly polished game they have released physically.

This would be great. Megaman and Scott Pilgrim I hope could happen. I doubt TG16 will ever see the light of day. Maybe but either some company has to buy Hudsonsoft from Konami or Konami really makes a 180 and not pachinko games.

FDS Stick?

Yeah it a cool floppy disk 128Mb flash cart. It connects to the Famicom Floppy Disk System in two ways. Here is a pic. One way it connects to the RAM cart like in this picture. The other way take little modding to make a cable and on the drive. That will allow you to connect the Floppy Disk System into your computer to copy off the games and save games.

Congrats on the BVM. I have been on the look out for a PVM or BVM. To the question which is better BVM is but they are harder to find and more expensive.
I did just recently Buy a Famciom Disk System. I was happy to find out that the Disks I bought prior all work. Also the FDS Stick works for the most part.

I recently picked up Lords of Thunder. I have been playing this. I have played my friends copy and remeber it well back in the day being marketted as the power house showing the strenght of the TurboDuo.  I had the TurboForce magazine but it got destroyed in my trunk in College. I picked up another copy and will be more carful with it. I was happy that I beat the first level first playthrough. I am not good at this genre but I am really enjoying them and hope to get better with practice.

I'm not sure how I feel about box collectors. The case sure but those only wanting boxed games I wonder why. I mean I like to play games. I also like a case if the game came with one. Cardboard box not so much for me. Sure I have a few I have had since I was a kid. I tried to keep them in good shape but only a few made it through the years.

I also recommend getting an everdrive and playing the games to figure out what you want to buy. Also get into CD games sooner than later.

I backed it and I got the steam code but I don't have a PC I have a Mac. So I plan to either get windows installed on my mac or use my friends PC to play the demo. I am looking forward to it. I just hope they don't rush it out. March 2017 is less than a year away.

PC-Engine RF in theory but N64 Z trigger in practice.
