I'm thinking this. I have always wanted a Neo Geo and I think I will continue to wait but some day I want an Omega and Multi cart. I'm researching the controllers. I recently discovered that Undammed the guy behind the UD-CPS2 has made an Arcade/Neo-geo connection to USB that works with TE sticks and PS3/360 future PS4/XB1.

Well save money for games but I would change that and say get to buying games now if you can. Yeah PAL TVs with NTSC consoles not good. I wouldn't waste any money on a cheap scaler they are crap. Good luck getting a NTSC CRT TV. I guess maybe a PVM that is NTSC. It might take time to track one down so buy games while you look. If you want to play on your HDTV get the XRGB mini. It is not cheap but it works so well. I say this if you have several old consoles. Then that is just the beginning. Track down a modder in the UK and look into RGB mod.

I really have no idea about playing NTSC on PAL CRT or how you could get a NTSC. Also your lucky a CRT could have RGB SCART in your neck of the woods.

I really did enjoy watching it. Also I am glad they made the video that year and didn't wait any longer. I'm sure that office was just about to go down hill very fast. That is considering they where at the beginning of the Saturn and it didn't last much longer. However very interesting times there at Sega.

It certainly is!  Ever since he made his TurboGrafx announcement, I have been hording copies of Keith Courage.  I just know it is going to be the next $100+ title.  I have over 100 copies now.  Yup, it's gonna go up in value...any day now...just waiting...

There's a store near me that has a 5 loose copies of Kieth Courage that it hasn't sold for years for $5.  I went in recently and they upped the price to $20.  I asked why, and they said "Turbo Grafx games are very popular these days."  There were still 5 copies. 

They weren't selling at $5, but maybe they'll sell at $20!?  Good luck, store!

Yeah, I have heard stuff like that. Also Store owners talking how they have many TG16 games in the back but in no hurry to sell them as they put it the price just keeps going up the longer they don't sell.

I ordered Typing of the Dead and a Dreamcast Keyboard. I will get the keyboard next week but the game closer to the end of the month. I think I will do pretty well since I can type I hope fast enough.

Me too. We have it at MGC occasionally. Loads of fun.

I think an Import version from japan might be pretty hard in Japanese.

Also this game has been on my mind since planned on getting a VGA adaptor for my Dreamcast. It has been nice.

I first played this as well on my SNES in the Mario All Stars cart. I was so excited to play an new Super Mario Bros. It was punishing. I have picked up the Famicom Disk. I would like to get the disk Drive someday and play it. I think I will need to pickup a few more Disk Games first to push me over the edge.

I just tried booting up my original xbox and it is not working as well as my 360 that I hadn't touch in a couple of years. I'm looking into getting another and use it for parts. Also my Xbox  was softmodded and I liked having the games on the hard drive. I may have to figure that out again. I also have a broken Saturn that I keep just incase I find a use for it or can repair it. Lastly I have a Launch 60 BC PS3. I tried to get fixed three times. The last time seemed to be the last time. You are not alone with keeping broken consoles.

I thought ver 2 fixed issues. I have a TED ver 1 because back then that was all there was. It works on my US unmodded Duo and my Region modded Duo-R

I enjoy playing on the accutal controller. I hate the extra buttons. However I still like the wireless nature of this. I am tempted to buy 2. I think what I need to push me over the edge would be an NES style controller. I see they make those as well. Also the Famicom style Arcade stick looks really nice.

Saturn is on the rise for sure. It is pretty expensive to start fresh. I have a few but not all I would want to play. I'm very interested in the USB mod.

I love my PS3 TE stick. It works great with my mac. I played my SNES with a Capcom Fighting Stick and my Genesis with an arcade stick. I love playing fighting games with a stick and arcade games like castle crashers. I'm tempted to buy a PS4 TE2 stick but I would rather spend the money on TG16/PC-Engine games first.

I am glad to here they are going back the well with teh hudsonsoft games. I was crushed that they stopped releaseing PC Engine/TG16 games on PSN once Konami bought Hudson. I wish Konami would really open the floodgates of their backlog on the current systems. I would love to play the CD games on my Vita/PS4.

Growing up I was playing Turbo Grafx 16 at my friends house. I was impressed and we played it all the time. I wanted a Duo for many years to play the Hu card and CD games. I knew about Rond of Blood when it came out. After playing Symphony of the night I knew I had to get Rondo of Blood some day.  One day I got a Duo and Rondo later. I play a bunch of games on it. I want to play more CD games.

I'm not a huge fan of Hyperkin. I agree I think 16x9 screen is a huge mistake. I love my Turbo Express and I think the next thing will be for me to get it modified with a battery and possible screen.

I'm not a fan of people using real carts on android emulators. It is just helping drive up the price on carts.

When it was out I was not a fan. I had a Sega CD and felt it wasn't getting the love it deserved. The 32X was gone so quick. I have a 32X I played Star Wars on it. I also have Night Trap CD32X. It works great in creating the Tower of Power.

I would say RGB SCART with a Framemeister a great choice for a modern TV. Also RGB SCART is good for PVM and BVM as well. Component alone while a good second choice it alone will not be a good solution for a modern tv. Cheap scalers are just that. But hey what ever works for you. I really like RGB SCART. I have about 5 to 6 systems on RGB SCART. TG16/PCE looks great with a RGB mod. I love my Duo-R with the RGB mod.

The reason none of this is real is because he has said many times that he doesn't want to spend his money on this project but others money.

I have been thinking about getting a PS2 slim. I have my launch system. I had to get it repaired by Sony. Also don't play disc games vertical on the none slim version it can cause circular scratches.

It looks good. It really does remind me of a CoreGrafx with a CD-ROM2. I would like to see it with the duo door.

The hu card cover will not open and close well because of where I had to place the region switch. However, I'm sure I could file a small notch out of the the cover for it to work if need be. I just planned on using it without one. If the system would have worked with a chip based region switch then it wouldn't be an issue, since the switch would have been on the back instead.
